There's a video called Worlds most powerful handgun on YouTube and it shows a fat guy shooting the same gun in this vid but he used a 600 nitro express caliber aka elephant gun round in the chamber

It is a fun pistol! I got a deer with it last year. Cool movie! Yes they make them with a 12" barrel too. Mine is a 15" (barrel that is) :) You know what they say...The bigger the gun...the bigger your barrel! LOL!

On my 7mm-08 barrel I've got a Nikon Monarch 2.5-8x28 and on the .22-250 I've got a Leupold Vari-X 2.5-8x32. The Nikon is a better scope, the optics are perfect. I used the Leupold one piece bases on both and the Leupold rings designed for them. The Encore is so great because of the multiple caliber capability. I also have a .50 cal muzzle loader barrel (rifle length) for it. That is a blast, pun intended. LOL

Excellent caliber for deer sized game. I have a Pro Hunter in 7-08, with a Burris 2 x 7 scope. Shooting a 3/4 inch group @ 100 yds. with handloads off the bench. Took 3 Deer with it this year. 1 Video posted here....Search "Pistol Kill"
That's a sweet video "Pistol Kill"! How do you like the Burris 2x7? Which model do you have? I tried a Bushnell Firefly Elite and didn't like it much. On the one that I tried the eye relief was only about 15" but it was supposed to be 20" constant.
Mine's a 2 x 7 x 32 Electra Dot. When you turn the knob on top of the scope, a lighted red dot appears in the center of the crosshairs. Good for low light conditions. also, have a gun smithing friend, that polished my trigger down to 2 lbs. Makes a world of difference in accuracy.
i have a savage 7mm-08 rifle its the best caliber of gum far out the best but i have a question do you think a 7 mm 08 would take down a black bear without a problem???
Absolutely! A well placed shot with the right ammo would do the trick. I wouldn't use it on a Grizzly but it would knock a Black Bear into oblivion. I've read in several forums and seen a few hunting shows where they've used the 7mm-08 for Black Bear.
what kind of ammo should i use i am going deer hunting next week where there are alot of black bear in the blue ridge mountains in dalonega Ga.. Wht would u reccommend i am 15 so i need something that would take it down for sure and safely..

Those are nice! The 7mm-08 is relly managable on the recoil and shoots nice and flat! My wife can shoot it with no problem!

It's a necked down 308. It has a little better ballistic specs and shoots a little flatter. Nice round but spendier than a 308shell. Love that gun!

Thats a NICE GUN RANGE there u have in the backyard. In my opinion U should be able to get 1 to 2 inch groups even at 200 yards.

Cool, I have the same gun. I also have a .22-250 barrel for mine. Both are scoped. They are as accurate as any rifle I've shot. Fun gun to shoot.
