Exactly, Crysis is not as tweaked and optimized as Far Cry 2, or any other game of it's weight, so if your rig can run Crysis, well, it runs 'em all.

@KelvinPCGaming Well you got lucky, my specs are a little bit lower than yours, GTS 250 4GB Ram AMD Quad 3000 so it struggles a bit with it. Do you have any idea how to customise graphics settings aside from the preset ones? I want to disable some effects and the freakin' game interface won't allow it

i run this game at everything ultra high and the AA all the way up at 2048x1152 with the GTS 250. gets about 25 fps, not bad

GTS 250 and a Core i7 would probably run almost anything great, of course no guarantees on really high resolutions and settings.

I'm guessing 3 or 4 GBs RAM.

No game has ever recommended as highly as GTS 250, Core i7, and 3 GBs RAM.

A few have recommended quad cores, a few have recommended 2.5 GB or 3 GB ram, and I think one has recommended a 9800gtx.

Terminator Salvation recommends a Nvidia 200 card. look at these recommendations.

They'll always make games with the intention of people not having to spend a ridiculous amount of money on graphics cards.

There's always going to be insane games though that need a lot of power.

Ah forget the 295, that thing is ridiculous, the Geforce 300 series should be good. Besides ATI has some killer cards right now.

Well it is something of a budget card now, you can get a 9800 gt for as low as $80.

GTS 250 is a better idea for serious gaming.

Even a GTX 260 can almost be called a budget card now, depending on what you call a budget card.

You can get a GTX 260 Core 216 for $155 after a rebate.

It will run ..ooookay. I mean I got a 285gtx w/ 2gb, 10gb ddr3, i7 2.66 ghx, 7 x64 and it still has its slow moments.

Probably your max fps will be around 20-30 depending on how much graphics from you game you want. For ultra on 1920x1200 don't expect your specs to fair well :D

I can see that even with all textures on ultra high and 4xAA the game runs fine even though it's recorded, so I guess that you get more FPS without recording - if it's above 30-60 FPS it's good...
