  • I DONT KNOW WHY BUT THE END OF THE SHOW ALWAYS GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS! LOL.

  • Meadow... haawt!

  • Don't you people get it? The ending was most definitely NOT left open. He died. You know Meadow couldn't park her car twice? Well, twice Tony a d a close encounter with death. But Meadow was eventually able to park the car. It was a metaphor. Tony may have escaped death but those that want him dead will just keep trying until they succeed. And also notice how everytime someone walks in we get a cut of Tony picking his head up and then the next shot is Tony's POV. We don't see Meadow come in...

  • @iCanHazit ...because Tony didn't either. He was shot in the head. He didn't hear or see his own death, so you didn't either.

  • @iCanHazit That's just your opinion. There's no definate answer.

  • @iCanHazit That is totally you're own opinion. There isn't a definite ending - it is completely left open to our own imaginations so that we can enjoy it fully and not be disappointed by it. Do you really believe that the writers fade to black in an attempt for you to guess the correct ending out of an infinite number of possibilities?!

  • where the fuck IS the russian ??

  • @kdpflanders1 yeah where da fuk is he? still in the woods maybe?

  • yeah but wheres the russian?

  • It's a great ending. Not wrapped up in a nice bow, but The Sopranos was never like that anyway.

  • i think the ending was bullshit after watching the whole seasone i would think that they owed it to the audience to make a difinative ending weather tony dies or not .its a cop out to leave it open, it only benifits david chase not the fans that supported the whole 6 seasons, its a tv show not a subject for debate now i dont care if he died or not i just think that david chase wants a safty net to come back to if his future work fails!!! if it ended like that in a book i would have burned thebook

  • @007gmoney Good call- 100% agree.

  • @007gmoney It was made to end like that so it gave us the feeling of being left there not knowing what would happened next in Tony's life as Tony wouldn't either.

  • @007gmoney it's not opened ended if you take the time to look at it. tony is shot, from 3 o'clock by the man in the Members Only jacket. Chase spend the whole of season 6 setting this up. it is not a cheap or easy ending, but like the Sopranos througout, the more 'work' you do as a viewr, the more you get out of it.

  • @007gmoney If it would have been a book I would have cared less. I have spent what? Probably like 70-80 hours watching this great series and then the writer screws me over like this. A book only occupies up to 10 hours or so. I wachted the ending of the series 5 minutes ago for the first time. I feel fucking empty, this show did a lot to me and now it's gone with so many questions for me that haven't been answered. It is just so frustrating I hate it! Still I love the Sopranos though

  • @michielmons I just finished the series as well and i felt exactly the same way, but when i think about the entire series it was such a good show

  • Ohh, i think she needs a hug ^^...

  • you'd think the guy going to the bathroom killed them. like when michael corleone grabs the piece from the bathroom and kills those guys that are sitting at his table. another reason why i don't think meadow was killed....

  • i think tony, his wife, and aj get killed right when meadow walks in. only reason i think that is because of her taking so long to park as well as aj, tony, and camilla eating an onion ring. i think of it as a metaphor. onion rings have holes in them...... think about it

  • lol im sad Eugene hung himself I thought he was a realistic wiseguy

  • Tony turned into a alien monster and ate the bad guys like Nibbler on Futurama. Great writing. On my part that is.... Glad I didn't watch it live.

  • Tony was killed by that guy.who was at the bar.

  • I loved the ending!

  • Also, "you're the very last thing we see" Um, no she isn't? The very last shot is Tony looking up before it cuts to black. Pft!

  • Ralph kills Tony. He walks in missing half an arm, all bloodied and bruised, then kills him with a meat cleaver.

  • Tony dies. There's a great article online that dissects this much better than any comment could. The show is told through Tony's eyes. We see 5 POV shots, and the cut to black is now what Tony sees- death. The man who uses the bathroom is the shooter; he walks in before AJ, Tony barely even sees him because he's looking at AJ. And to everyone saying they want to see what Tony's death looks like--just watch Phil's murder earlier in this episode. It would be like that, in front of family and all.

  • @JosephCurrency

Who wanted Tony dead, Phil was killed

  • @79Testo So I guess all the families of the people Tony killed over the years would have no motivation to get back at him? His MAIN enemy was killed, yes, but a man in his position would probably have quite a few people that would love nothing more than to see him with a bullet in his head. We don't get to see it, but it very likely happens. Google "tony soprano definitive" because it explains it a lot more in-depth than I can with a 500 character comment.

  • @JosephCurrency

I'll check it out, but it could be "hear say" if it over the net.

  • @79Testo Oh, it's definitely hearsay--that's the beauty of the ending. If you want Tony to live, that's fine. That article is just the most convincing thing I've seen on how the ending can be interpreted (and it says Tony dies), so I'm inclined to believe that's what happened.

  • @JosephCurrency

I think there is a possibility that there will be a movie or something. People want to know what happens.

There is a lot of money in it if they bring another movie or episode.

  • Tony looks up multiple times... He seems a little on edge because of all the recent events that just occurred in the story. I don't feel there's any reason why Tony WOULD get whacked at this point. Phil's 2 closest friends eventually thought Phil was pushing his boundaries and now will benefit from his death anyway. Bobby/Christopher are dead, Sil is on his way out, the soprano family is already a mess. If Tony was meant to die, we should've seen it as well the family's plans after the fact..

  • @C0leman No, because the scene was shot from Tony's point of view and he never saw it coming. Is last action was to look up at who was going through the door and then there was the blackness as he was dead.

  • 1:00 aaaaaaahw

  • f'in patsy parisi! scary dude

  • No Sopranos movie, please!

  • David Chase told Meadow what it meant. Lol

  • great show yes, but the finale sucked cock. All the actors think so, but they dont want to say otherwise to get 'David chase' upset.

  • With some similarities between the godfather and the sopranos. It was Meadow that got murdered in front of Tony, just like in GF 3.

  • Remember.. the whole seriesis based on looking through tony's eyes... he got shot in front of his family... thats why the scence cut when he looked up.. meadow was running late and when she arrived... RIP Tony Soprano...

  • "I was hoping Tony made it, and he did!" - did he watch the same show as the rest of us? What did he think the sudden cut to black meant?

  • you know your fucked when not even the people who worked on it know what happened.

  • look at the first season and tell me meadow didnt get a nosejob

  • Predictably, the FBI agent talked too much.

  • 7 seasons? Am i missing something?

  • @ipimees season 6 was cut into parts 1 and 2 so it's sort of seven seasons :)

  • She needs to get fucked. Meadow is bad as fuck!!

  • Tony had a Top Mob Gangster with connections all the way to Italy......Killed....Let's see? Did Tony Survived? Okay you make up your mind. Would you want to get revenge if somone in your family was killed? Now think cold blooded killers wanting the same thing....

  • the song fit the scene that was the best man i was crying because no more sopranos :(

  • The way Chase ended it you would have liked Tony to survive after the series and nothing says he didnt die it simply suggests that.If you go back to the previoise series a comment it mentioned Tony in a boat about dying. You probably wont see it when it happens and its probably like fading to black.Thats exactly it suggests at the end exept his life didnt fade to black it just switched of as if it took one shot probably in the side of the head to kill him.And he didnt see it coming he saw Meadow.

  • Tony didn't make it you idiot

  • Matt Servitto - the lovely Agent Harris - had the most insightful things to say, and was also the most sincere and lucid.

  • I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but... with all due respect, I'd fuck the shit out of Jamie-Lynn's small mouth.

  • shes so beautiful

  • SSSOOOOOOOOOO HOTTTTT

  • Junior walk into the restaurant and yells CAZZATA MALANGA and shoots tony. Not Meadow.

  • @XtrmMcjohnson HAhahahahahhahahahah

  • @XtrmMcjohnson I know. Junior DRESSED AS MEADOW walks in and kills him. That's the reason why he couldn't park.

  • @XtrmMcjohnson lmao that woulda been class

  • @XtrmMcjohnson almost died laughing. red it in his voice too.

  • @XtrmMcjohnson haha I was thinking of that too.

  • The "Man in Member's Only jacket" listed in the final credits is wearing the same jacket worn by Eugene Pontecorvo in the episode "Member's Only". In that episode, Tony would not allow Eugene to "retire" from the Mafia and take his family to Florida. Eugene ended up committing suicide because of this. Eugene's wife would have blamed Tony for the suicide. Therefore, I believe the assassin, wearing Eugene's jacket, is either a relative of Eugene's or was hired by Eugene's wife to kill Tony.

  • JAMIE-LYNN SIGLER IS BONNER MATERIAL

  • I absolutely LOVE how all the actors are Italian.

  • @KarlSalameh too bad they ARENT all Italian lol

  • @JohnGolbunny Well, they're Italian descendants with Italian names!

  • @KarlSalameh Again, no they aren't lol

  • @JohnGolbunny Yes they are.

  • @KarlSalameh Just off the top of my head, Meadow and AJ are NOT Italian...

  • @JohnGolbunny Anyone who bothers to look up Jamie-Lynn Sigler's profile on imdb will learn that her ancestory is everything *except* Italian.

  • @JohnGolbunny Meadow actually is, AJ isn't

  • @grizzlybear019 Uhm, no. Meadow is not Italian.

  • @JohnGolbunny She is lol, I've met her twice and know for a fact that her father's parents are Italian's that emigrated to USA

  • @grizzlybear019 Are you a stupid moron?

"Sigler was born in Queens, New York City to Steve and Connie Sigler. Her father is a Sephardic Jew, the son of immigrants from Greece and Romania, and her mother is a Cuban-born convert to Judaism."

  • @JohnGolbunny You seriously trust wikipedia?? You are obviously the moron... idiot... wikipedia used to say Anthony Hopkins had a sex change in 1971

  • @grizzlybear019 Haha

Everyone, lets now laugh at this gigantic douche bag moron who "has met her twice and knows for a fact her father's parents are Italian"

Here is a PERSONAL QUOTE FROM JAMIE LYNN SEIGLER: "I have no Italian in me. I'm Cuban, Greek, Romanian and Sephardic Jew, so I couldn't get further from Italian. But I guess I've been adopted into that family, too."

NOW WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY YOU ENORMOUS DOUCHE BAG IMBECILE? I'll be waiting for your apology you cock sucker.

  • @JohnGolbunny That's clearly not her you absolute moron idiot scumbag, It's obviously an impersonator, if you really think that was her, you are mentally retarded. Seriously what the hell is wrong with you, do you believe everything you see?

  • @grizzlybear019 You absolute shit bag, idiot, moron.

I give you a DIRECT QUOTE from Jamie Lynn Seigler herself off of IMDB saying she ISN'T Italian ("couldn't get further from Italian"), along with proof from wikipedia. Now you want me to believe that you, the biggest shit head, docuhe bag on youtube, that she is Italian?

I've met some gigantic cock sucking idiots in my day, but you, the enormous faggot douche bag, take the cake.

  • @JohnGolbunny I love how angry you get LOOOL, you really are a nub

  • Comment removed

  • @JohnGolbunny HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA you are the sucker

  • @grizzlybear019 We all see you now abandoned your position that you have met her and "know for a fact that her father's parents are Italian." I take much pleasure in knowing I was the one who exposed you as the cock sucking, creepy faggot moron you truly are.

Now your only resort is lame insults because you know I have proved you 100% wrong. This was very enjoyable. Always remember your mother is a disgusting, pig faced, filthy prostitute. ok?

  • @JohnGolbunny You do know I was just trolling you don't you?

  • Comment removed

  • Jamie-Lynn Sigler looks like she was sad because of the ending of such an epic tv series

  • They're all fucking lying

  • little Carmine is actually fairly eloquent

  • Maedo look like she was on some type of drug lol or she's kinda nervous....but i REALLY think she smoked some shit

  • The biggest question or cliffhanger for me is what happened to Silvio. Until the moment he was shot, I never realised how much I liked that cold hearted, evil, ruthless fuck. I really want him to live and take over NJ plus more states. It's obvious Tony was going to die or how could the story really be over?

  • @ShayLee0501 sure silvio could be coldhearted, but he nearly ALWAYS had his mind in place when it came to the job, to the dirty work. he was always reliable, always professional. intimidating, well-spoken, astute... just as long as you arent playing poker with him!

  • @frostytheaussie You're right and that is why I loved him.

  • @ShayLee0501

sure he was cold-hearted and ruthless, but he was the most loyal man in the whole series. within their world, i think he was the best guy, better than tony probably.

  • @LfunkeyA Agreed

  • @ShayLee0501 adrianna had to goooo!

  • @ShayLee0501 I agree about Sil, but he was in a coma, I think implying his future was bleak.

  • @zoody123 No, I don't want to think that. He was in a coma, NOT dead and nice a safely tucked into a hospital with his family around and videos of his kids playing through his sleep. I like to think this nurturing environment brings Silvio back to life but with a bigger hunger to take over and destroy his enemies.

  • Note to self, don't chew gum like Aida Turruto while on camera and talking

  • the story is based on tonys life once his life is over so is the story, you just dont see tony getting shot you just see meadow walking in the door which was the last thing tony seen.

  • Why speculate what happened to Tony or anyone else, they may try and recreate the show in the future.

  • this TV serires will NEVER...and i repeat NEVER will be good as The Wire...

  • Comment removed

  • @thegame52291 That's why it was cancelled right?

  • @jakedizzle it wasnt cancelled it came to an (brilliant) end.....moron!

  • Tony said he was an interior decorator. Really? His house looked like shit.

  • people who dont understand the ending cant read between the lines and prob only saw tony soprano as a mob boss, not a person as well. note: The Sopranos was not meant for idiots who cant interpret things themselves.

  • @snwilson09 Word.

  • The ending was a slap in the face to all the people that bought DVDs, mechandise or supported and watched this series.

  • @GRehillMusic So, how would you have ended the show?

  • @GRehillMusic You are too narrow-minded to understand the genius and the beauty of that ending.

  • somebody said meadows face is the last one that we see? correct me if i am wrong but isnt tony's face the last one we see? why would they think that meadows face is the last one that we see? are there two different ending here or something? please help im confused?

  • @samdogmc12 We can see that Meadow's the last face that Tony sees before the screen goes black

  • worst ending for the best tv series of all time

  • .... Where is the Russian?

  • @Gettinghitonattheban he's tweeting to Furio

  • the sopranos ending would probably be the type of ending i would choose to end a story i was writing for screen or for a book. not for artistic purposes but because im lazy like that

  • The truth is, Tony is allways gonna have to look over his shoulder and worry about who's who, It's a part of everyday life, never safe, You know? Safe today, could die the next, Peace

  • me and her would make a beautiful family

  • tony, can i fuck meadow?

  • Oh shit Meadow, I could skull fuck you all day.

  • at the beginning gene looks slightly like vitali klitschko

  • The first time in cinematic history that the audience dies at the same time as the hero.

The King is Dead. Long live the King.

  • I WOULD LIKE TO PUT IT IN MEADOWS BUM.

  • He's dead...simple as that...its all explained in previous episodes...Tony Soprano is dead...very fitting end...

  • @Medication102 why is he dead? i dont think so, i think the guy that he sent to the court testified against him, like in the Godfather II when Frank Pentangeli was going to testify against Michael Corleone .

  • @myautomobilefunk

The man in the Members Only Jacket went to the bathroom, got a gun, (very Godfather-esque as well) and killed Tony. Bobby was talking with Tony a few episodes before and said that when you die everything goes black and silent. That's my interpretation...but yeah...take it as you will...

  • @Medication102 why they had to take the gun from the bathroom? it was unneccesary, they could into the restaurant with the gun and just shoot him, in the Godfather scene it was a reunion between Corleone, Sollozzo and McCluskey in the Sopranos it wasnt a reunion .

  • @Medication102

    Why would he die?

He made Peace with New York and he killed Phil Leotardo so theres no real reason for why a hitman would be after him.

I think that the events after the restaurant scene is Tony going to Trial and eventually to Jail for his gun charges.

  • All the people saying the ending sucked are morons, if you class the "ending" as only the last 5 seconds then you know nothing about Daivd Chase's genius, take in the full last scene and everything that happens and you'll understand exactly what happened to tony and why it was the perfect ending, did you all want a cliche of someone just walking in and shooting the greatest TV character of all time? No. Best ending it could of possibly had.

  • i thought it was a brilliant ending

meadow's just as hot in real life

  • @hpmc9 meadow? fuck you can talk about other shit and just you say that meadow is hot, fuck off .

  • The perfect ending, if you think about it...

  • Jamie's crying cause those $200.000.00 checks will not be flowing as easily

  • What is so brilliant of not finishing a script?

  • @ojibwayjayceon2 In the episode "Soprano Home Movies" Tony Soprano with his brother-in-law Bobby, Bobby comments on how suddenly and without sound death can happen in their lives as gangsters. That's the brilliant thing about this ending, when you are killed in this "execution" gangster style... you don't even notice it

  • THIS WA T THE WORST ALLTIME ENDING IN THE SERIES OF SERIES. THE ONLY FADE TO BLACK SONG I LIKE IS THE SONG IF YOU NO WHAT I'M MEAN.

  • very selfish of david chase to end it like that

  • was a terrible ending, worst of all time

  • 04:23 i love ray abruzzo's hairy chest!!

  • it was lame

  • NOV. / 2010: "I WISH THEY WOULD GET MOVING AND MAKE THE SOPRANOS MOVIE BEFORE IT IS TO LATE"!!! ("Please make it now"!!) "Actors like us all age or even die, we need the movie Done NOW"!!! Thank you!

  • This is proof that Meadow soprano was the last person scene on camera where did the scene go its not on youtube, dvd, or vod. WTF happened to the scene people are not crazy, The interviewer here says you entering the resturaunt is the last scene

  • Great show, great acting, everything I have always loved to see in television. A classic that will live on. I watch the reruns faithfully and never tire of them.

  • ending was embarrassing

  • Jesus Christ, damned interviewers, stop torturing Jamie-Lynn.. She barely not crying, and they just keep asking questions, wtf...

  • Little Paulie Germani said Tony made it and little Paulie don't lie

  • @Steve2323ZX put on your glasses man. That was the guy who played Eugene.

  • @EazyMothafuckingE the camera was at an off angle

  • Ahh Jamie's a sweety.

  • Damn Jamie is fucking GOOOOOD here

  • and turtle from entourage is banging her lucky fuck

  • everyone is dodging the question. just sad

  • he has to say it was great its in his contract to fake it

  • Rosalie Aprile just has that fuckable persona

  • Don't stop belieeeeeving...bang-bang!

  • they were so paid to say it was good.its obvious, come on guys there actors

  • the ending sucksass...

  • Sopranos gotta be the best series ever.. it has everything. Complex relationships, knowledge about mankind, action, love, people getting whacked (we all love it), and an emotional part that never get's sentimental or cheesy, yet very powerful. WANT MORE.

  • @sucramnormark then watch lost

  • Jamie-Lynn Sigler is HOTTTTTTTTT

  • plaease mary me lol!! she is sooooooooooooooooooooo hot!

  • just hot!

  • most series get worse with time, sopranos were the only one that got better from season to season

  • @Njzizskmp Lost was good thoe dude lol

  • @dereck199 yeah but they're all dead?!?!?

  • @Njzizskmp No there just in purgatory- heaven moving on after everyone dies thats where they meet up its confusing.

  • @dereck199 yeah but they're still dead, so its like we watched all the seasons for nothing

  • @Njzizskmp That's what you think but I loved every moment of lost just search up things that explain better then me.
