The way I see it if a celebrity has a 30 to 40 year career where they live very well and then live until 85 or beyond, they've had a wonderful life and should feel blessed.
R.I.P. Miss you all. Thanks for this video.
WONDERFUL job on the video!! Thanks for the reminder of the wonderful individuals we lost in 2007. I can't resist noting, though, that Anna Nicole Smith does not FIT in this group of real actors and heroes. (Exactly WHAT did she contribute to anything?) Sorry, no comparison here. Still, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the EXCELLENT work!
Michelangelo Antonioni died the same day as Ingmar Bergman. [Please, kids. Don't use this for one of those silly who's-the-best pissing matches. It's just a comment.]
...excellent job, lil bro! your brother's proud of you for VERY GOOD reason, thanks for sharing the passing of some very significant people - regardless of age, gender, ehtnicity, nationality, religion, creed (et ceteroids), we all touch the lives of everyone we meet and this influence carries (usually with little or no notice) internationally, universally, eternally and freely...thanks again, YOU ROCK! :)
That's a very interesting film for a 15 year old..and the music is different..maybe a bit too somber but, it is a very nice dedication to those beautiful people!!
Wonderful tribute and so many greats lost. One small correction. Luciano Pavarotti, not Pavoratti. It is stunning that one so young is so aware of the world around him and those of an entirely different generation, recognizing the loss of these great stars.
@gary1792 : Sonny was a child star....he was in "Citizen Kane" and played the child version of Orson Well's character. Sonny was the last of the surviving member of the cast. He was 79 when he died.
Life is so DEPRESSING! Why are we born to begin with? Why do people treat each other so badly? Why are governments and politicians repeatedly allowed to rob and rape us of our bread and butter! This video enchanced what I was already feeling. It is all too sad!
@marinello6 We r merely travelers passing through, life is a journey. We are all servants, here 2 serve 1 another 2 make some1 else's life a lil bit easier & 2 b a blessing 4 those that we come into contact with, thats y God created us. Yes, it is sad that so many r self centered, egotistical & could care less about any 1 other than self! That being said, I can only hope that I helped make life better for someone that I was blessed to meet. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
@1hunny51 I like what you wrote alot. Reminds me of my late partner Rod. he died in 01 at age 39. He was so wise and a minister and an acct. Peace. You are a wise soul too. Billy God Bless you and your family.
@BillyDoll9 God Bless you too, my friend. I know that you must miss him terribly, but it sounds like he left a wonderful legacy. Embrace his legacy and all that he was, and all that you both were....together and individually. It appears that he made a difference in your life and for that, I know you will be eternally grateful. It sounds as if you were a blessing to him as well. May you continue to bless others with your words and deeds.
it isnt sad...life sucks for the most part unless your brad pitt...so being dead is peaceful..no more pain no more worry no more feeling like a loser who never amounted to anything no more guilt for hurting people that you really did love and care about...if your a dick a-hole like most people..death is a welcome relief from misery...
Its really very Sad! but what can we do,People's lives, are come & go! many people has already died but at the same time many are born. Our lives here on earth is not permanent & we have to go,when our time comes!
Marcia Mae Jones said that while all the young stars in all those films she made were tutored on the lot she went to public school! When she was absent to do a film she had to make up all the work when she got back to school! Shirley Temple was of course tutored on the lot but eventually enrolled as a student, period, at Westlake School for Girls. She became a school leader and very popular once everyone got over her being Shirley Temple. Shirley was amazingly normal given her history!
well done to you mate, that was very respectful, thoughtful, and in this day and age very refreshing to see and hear as well, more so from a young person, full credit to you both boys,,,excellent!!!!!
@TheFightingTwits It's easy to see why you're proud of your brother for making this; without question, this is the most tasteful, beautiful memorial I've ever seen in my life. Head and shoulders above even the Academy Awards tributaries. He has managed to combine the perfect timing for photos with the absolutely best, most appropriate music that serves to underscore and augment the presentation. Your brother has a superb gift -- he belongs in TV or movies for sure.

I used to think it was funny when my parents would heard of a Star or cellebrity passing away from there era, even some friends or aquaintances of there's. In the ground locked in a box that cost $7000 that no one will ever see again unless they can prove that the doctor that put him there was negligent and then they will dig them up again for an autopsy.
We are born we live we die we are buried and we rot.

This clip has moved me -many people I had known all my life have passed away and only now I find out (I'm 74) - Requiescant in pace. By the way, I'm trying to understand the Gregorian chant. It seems it['s a psalm as i have identified the "gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritu Sancto.." does any know what it is?
I don't know, or barely know, many of these people, and appreciate the time you took pointing out who everyone is~ I give you 5 stars for adding in Roscoe Lee Brown, alone! He was a severly underrated actor, I think. So dignified, eloquent, and a natural in every role he played..reminding me much of Donald Sutherland!
i cried when i found out lady bird died... being from austin, i know how much she gave to make this country and my town a better, more vibrant place.. she will be missed!

And we mustn't forget to tell our loved ones just how much they mean to us. I wanted to write to Beverly Sills just one last time and guess what, I left it too late! A lesson well learnt. Thanks for a very tastefully made tribute to world greats that cannot ever be replaced!
