Aussie rappelling is not cool, it is extremely dangerous and STUPID!!!! You have a single strand rope going over an edge with no rope mat of any kind to protect the rope from shearing on the rocks edge. If you are going to post a video on rappelling, at least show how to do it correctly. Idiots!!!
@LovetheSawtooths I know one of these guys and he's not an idiot. These guys can rappel how ever they want. It's their life, not yours. If they want to do Australian rappelling, then they can. I don't think they are idiots at all. If someone is going to go try rappelling this way just because they watched this video, then its that own persons fault if they get hurt. Some people like to do dangerous things for fun, and there's nothing wrong with it as long as they're not hurting any one else.
Nice aussie rappels. Never done it with slack on the rope like that though. Looks like it could be painful when you reach the end of the slack. It also looks like it could very easily go wrong and screw you up big time. You should probably get a helmet or something...
