This album came out when I was in high school and ignited a love for traditional big band swing in me. I practiced the trumpet parts for this more than I practiced our jazz band music! Harry is my favorite jazz singer. I wish he would produce a new CD of original big band music.
The entire of this CD rocks! Big bad razzamatazz baby! Hey Hepcats grab up ya kittens and spin spi!!!n, hit the floor like its got oil on it! put that finger up! ,, horns..jam baby. This is the wayyyy.
I love Harry Connick Jr and Blue Light Red Light is the album I grew up with. Blue Light Red Light is one of my favorite albums since forever. Now Harry Connick hasn't done much in a while I sure miss his voice. Hope he comes out with a new album someday.
