Election's over, son. Whatever tenuous connections McCain tried to capitalize on between Ayers and Obama have failed. America made its choice. I do think it would have served McCain better to find talk about something substantial than try to use the swiftboat approach to win. Ayers matters to the current situation as much as Keating did...which is to say, not much at all. They concentrated on a political sideshow when they should have focused on the center ring.
