The sound and HDR clarity come through much better at the 720p upload. Very nice work. I just shot a HDR sunrise timelapse last week. Part of a project. :)
Hey, How did you move the camera? Did you use a tripod with motors? I'm going to make one of these soon, Going to reformat my gaming rig and set it up for batch processing.
The images and music work together beautifully to create really interesting work. I could see this as a montage in a major dramatic film where the jury deliberates on the life and death of a defendant. :)
is very beautifully put ,from the birth moment ,to first experiences and thrue the rest of life ,but you see it all on the old age.this video gives me the sense of life passing by,and pls:tell me how to find this music cause is realy awsome
quite nice, its something Ive been playing with as well, though I have to use nikon capture with my d70 which is a bit of a pain. I was wondering if you can share how you spun your camera so smoothly, i've been thinking about building a rig, but if theres already something out there it would save me a good bit of swearing thanks
Thanks for the advice...the d100 seems like a solid although i would not need the remote because I already have an intervolometer....ya looks like i'm going to have 2 sell my brand new a100 :(..........I also have another question about your video. If you are taking 3 shots and combining them while the camera is 'spinning' wouldn't the 3 (bracketed) shots be slightly different. Therefore when you assemble them they would not be the exact photo?
'slightly' is the operative word here, in fact very slightly... Actually photomatix has an 'allign' option which compensates a bit (in theory). I've yet to try it with say, people around. They'd probably be slightly ghosted.
great video,,,, I have attempted HDR timelapse with my sony a100 (yet had problems with an overheating issue?). Although I was shooting a series of 3 shots every 3 seconds. Have you ever encountered this overheating issue with your cam?
no i am using the Mumford System 'Time machine'.....I am shooting a film (based on time lapse photography this summer and had the idea of doing the entire film in HDR) but my silly a100 is overheating and shutting down :(
Very nice. It looks like the sun cooperated in staying behind clouds and the tree. Do you think it would have been a problem to have the bright sun in the frame?
I'm not sure... but I'm a little nervious about shooting a boatload of frames directly into the sun so I did plan this shot knowing that the sun would head that way. This is a DSLR so not much chance of messing up the sensor but I have totally screwed a sensor on a point and shoot by doing a timelapse with the sun high and in the frame.
One of my favorite cheap-n-good cams... The Epson 3100z (shoots 5sec/frame continuious) I found out the hard way that it leaves it's eyes wide open while timing. Tis an interesting question on your canons... I'd bet they are on and exposing while connected to the software - correct?
It's blowing my mind as well. I was thinking about for the last few months... You know how these things go, one small thing finally brings it all together. For me it was the answer to the question: what the hell would you use this multiplier for on the D200 intervolometer... then it hit me, duh, HDR.
Hey, I know this is an old video and I'll check out your other bids now, but how did you do the panning? I'd love to give this a try.

how quickly do you need to shoot your brackets. wouldn't the clouds move by the time you got to you last exposure in the bracket set?

under a second or so...

In general... telescope heads work great (like this example) check out some of my other movement experiments as well.

milapse, you ought to produce this on DVD (or better yet, BluRay or HD-DVD). i would love to see this on TV.

I like to much the motion, the evolution in time. It`s very good & don´t need the "cientific" voice.

Which point and shoot burned? It hasn't happened to me, but maybe I've just been lucky, or the low sun saved me.
