too bad they don't have the bust up...and it is so odd that Jim visited the grave shortly before being buried there. Nice shots of the sacre coeur.

@shangrila73eldorado When I went to Jim's grave, I climbed over the fence & left an old T-shirt from Venice, California & afterwards, bought a Jim T-shirt from Pere Lachaise. I was playing some Doors songs on a cell phone while at the grave, & eventually, a guard of some sort came up to me & told me in French - to stop. It wasn't like from a boombox or something!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAHA! I've been so stuck on the Etoile and not able to get out! Crazy guy on the bicycle! I was there April 2009 and saw all of this.. I spent the whole day at Pere LaChaise... I lived in Paris in 1971, and have visited many times, but this last time was best cause I was alone with my own agenda....just wandering and seeing all my favorite sites. Folks at Pere LaChaise are VERY FRIENDLY. We're all looking for that something... connection with greatness now gone.
