Before this basically groups like Stryper, Petra and Barren Cross where all I knew of Christian Rock. This song/group completely changed everything I knew and thought about from that point on.
actually the band didnt go totally satanic. Roger Martinez (lead singer) turned his back on God and is a self proclaimed athiest...not satanic, big difference.
The rest of the band formed another christian metal group called Die Happy, they are still rocking for God.
Have you had a chance to listen to this entire album or their other ones? This is one of my fav song from them but in my opinion not their best.
I will be posting 2 or 3 songs from their "Released Upon The Earth" album that I actually like better then this. I will shoot you a message when I do so you can listen.
I had the cassette with this song on it...but not for long actually somebody stole it from me. I had a hard time getting past this song on the tape as I liked it so much....heh.

That would be a very generic way to put it. In a nutshell it is pretty much honoring our ancestors and the Gods of our people that came before Christianity. :) And yes, it is the Norse Gods.

I have not heard any news about Roger in the last few years, he has been unusually quite. I guess that could both be a good or a bad thing.
We can only hope and pray that he is doing some soul searching and that the Holy Spirit moves him to take a step towards God again.

Funny thing about this band is that they eventually went TOTALLY satanic...he lost his faith in the false god of christianity....

For a short time he did become Satanic, I wasn't aware that he became an Atheist though. Thank you for the clarification.
This is actually the only song that I ever liked from them...being Asatru I am not a big fan of the Christian music.
