I have a sneaky feeling that Peterson team will not want a rematch any time soon and allow Peterson to enjoy his newfound status and opt for higher pay days.
Khan and everybody bitching about him being robbed, what about when he fought Paul McCloskey, where was the fair fight then hey? The ref was absolutely correct in his decisions, he warned Khan about pushing Peterson so many times before he deducted the first point, and then twice and again before the 12th, to say he wasn't warned is BS and you all are being bias cause you wanted Khan to win
The fact that Khan was being mentioned in the same sentence as Mayweather before this fight made me sick.
@Allsortsman92 Agree about Mayweather, but you cant blame a boxer for angling for his biggest payday. As for the McCloskey fight, he was nowhere to be seen in the fight! Hardly robbery. Khan was a clear winner on most cards including the points deduction
@majade13 He had a gameplan, Khan was getting tired and McCloskey was opening up. McCloskey was not a beaten man that night and Khan was protected from losing.
@Allsortsman92 I dont doubt it was controversial, but I didn't see any signs of there being any other outcome. Half the fight was done and all judges had it heavily to Khan, it would've had to be a hell of a round. Peterson was hurting him from round 2.
All his pushes threw the elbows in Peterson's face, so what is the ref supposed to do?
If anything, Khan has learned not to underestimate any opponent and not to look past the immediate fight. He was getting arrogant, and this fight should've knocked him down a few pegs.
I was at the fight and I was going for Peterson, but Khan getting those 2 points deducted was complete BS. I have never seen points deducted for pushing. The ref was completely biased and he wasn't even doing a good job with breaking up the hugs, headlocks, etc... Ref should never be allowed to ref again.
1. You cannot hit below the belt, hold, trip, kick, headbutt, wrestle, bite, spit on, or push your opponent. 2. You cannot hit with your head, shoulder, forearm, or elbow. 3. You cannot hit with an open glove, the inside of the glove, the wrist, the backhand, or the side of the hand. 4. You cannot punch your opponent's back, or the back of his head or neck (rabbit punch), or on the kidneys (kidney punch). Nor hitting on the break. Amir Khang broke all of them that round. Just keeping it real.
@XtremeOwner wheres the part about headbutting your opponnent? or keep head pushed agaist the others face whole fight? thats whay i thought enough said.....
@vildanius Headbutting is obvious and theres no rule about putting your head towards the persons body. Peterson came forward with his head down-low which is legal. Khan pulled down on Persons head/pushed him throughout the whole fight and even gave Peterson an uppercut when the ref broke them apart. SO ENOUGH SAID. Take a loss like a true fan, who lost, big fucking deal. I still think Khan will beat him in their rematch.

i think ref is right ... khan was doing his elbow push shit since the beginning of the fiGht ...
calling it cheating means taking the credit from peterson..
peterson fought hard and made khan go backwards and was having great accuracy in punches..
Peterson won it and khan underestimated peterson ..
better luck next tym khan and congrats to peterson

No offence I am Peterson fan, but again, the referee was really baised and results were totally bullshit. Referee should NEVER EVER ref again.
