  • That is a great video, Mike. Thank you for showing two approach and it seems like your formula works for any number of words separated. Really liked your video

  • @himalarohee , glad that you liked it!!

  • Seeing two different approaches to an excel problem is (formula and VBA) is just great. Mike, although a lot of us think that you should include VBA in your solutions, I think you deciding on leaving the VBA part to Mr Excel is a good idea. It helps beginners like me understand formulas better before we jump over to VBA.

  • Yes! I am just like you you - I am not a code writer, but I can at least use Excel!!

I am glad that the videos helps!

  • Mr ExcelIsFun (Master of Formulas),

I think you and Mr Excel should author a book from all these dueling videos as these are real life problems and therefore may relate to the masses. Just a friendly suggestion :)

By the way i love your videos and both of you are unique in your own styles. Keep up the good work.

  • Thanks!

That is a great idea. You should send a note to Bill Mr Excel Jelen.

    He is bjele123 at YouTube!

  • Hey Mike with your excel skill and aptitude I don't think mastering Excel VBA should be all too difficult.

(Then may be we could have another set of Video Tutorials on VBA....... lol!)

  • Mr Excel has an amazing series of videos about VBA. You can get it at his web site for about $49.

But, yes, I don't do VBA too well...

  • I got that way back in April when it was released on Amazon. LIke most of his products, its fantastic and must for those serious users!

  • Wow! So you are now a VBA Excel master, or at leat you can use it, right?

I have read his books on VBA and have the video, but have only watched the first 10 or so...

  • I like's Mike's soln better because it doesn't contain as much code w/ macros, despite having a greater number of steps.

Btw you guys are excel geniuses!

  • I am glad that you liked it! I just I wish I knew VBA so I could write that code!
