  • shes still beautiful and kinda reminds me of Olivia Newton John

  • Wow still looks the same Met her and most of the Cast when they filmed most of the Train scenes in Jamestown CA. She is just a bit older then me 10 months But a great cast Victor French was a great man. Micheal Landon was not so nice but we were young and wanted to meet the girls. Typical young boy's and Melissa Anderson was as sweet as she could be.

  • Interesting how she's not instantly recognizable as Mary. She's still pretty though!

  • I was born in 1963, so this show was right in my "wheel-house". Loved the show. It's my favorite along with The Waltons.

  • Shes so beautiful

  • classic tv

  • Thanks for uploading this. She does still look great.

  • I enjoyed the Alison Arngrim (Nellie Olsen) book better

  • Just Beautiful!!!

  • une série qui restera a jamais dans les coeurs et les mémoirs c 'est inoubliable tout simplement magnifique

  • the guy giving the interview sounds like a computer.

  • Melissa wrote a book last year titled "The Way I See It' (A Look Back At My Life On Little House) Took me awhile, but I finally found it & I am enjoying reading it right now. I loved the Laura Ingalls Wilder books as a child & have them all. Got a completre set for my granddaughters too. I also get a newsletter from the LIW "fan club" . Melissa was , for me, a very special and very talented actress. I really think she's enjoying her role as Mom more than anything else she ever did!

  • beautiful....dream

  • Brutalruth, you really must be blind. Superb series and Melissa Sue still looks beautiful.

  • I must have been blind to watch this rubbish as a kid

  • @BRUTUALTRUTH it was a great show - in a better, more innocent time for children.

  • She had strange eyes. Always gave me the creeps.

  • i hear melissa sue was a real bitch whilst they were filming little house....

  • 9-26-2011. Isn't it fine, isn't it fine? Melissa Sue is 49. Happy Birthday, Melissa. You've come a long way since Bewitched.

  • Prawie się nie zmieniła

  • I wonder if she ever got a copy of that Brady Bunch episode where Bobby kissed her and saw fireworks? Sounds like a great gift from the fans to give her.

  • The english language on the video is so clear that is perfect to be used on an english class lol

  • Grew up watching little house on the prairie love so much, now 40 still loving it.

  • She's attractive, really nice eyes.

  • i love to melissa anderson

  • she rolls her eyes about alot! haha

  • @MorbidObsessed thats cause she's nervous, it shows anxiety..

  • I really liked Mary (Melissa) she is a beautiful girl on Little House and now she is a beautiful women. I miss little house sooooooo much I wish it was back on tv.

  • She is so much different from Melissa Gilbert..

    She's just herself. So natural.

  • she improoved with age

  • Interviewer sounds like the parodic narrator in Kung Pow. "I implore you to reconsider."

  • she has very pretty eyes!

  • THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS!

  • This serie is repeated in the Netherlands so very much. Every episode brings tears in my eyes. Precious television. Thank you Melissa Sue Anderson!

  • @sweetkees I love Nettherlands and the people. Most of the people there were so down to earth !

  • lionsmaniac thats true she COULD pass for a real life daughter!!

  • She sounds exactly the same, LOL.

  • Aww she has still the same face! :)

    I like her!

  • In real life many of the stars talked about Melissa not being fond of the Little House Series and she's avoided the fans of it. She also had a reputation for kind of being a diva and difficult at times. A few of the stars have said some pretty negative things about her. I hope that she's finally come to terms with the series and learns to enjoy her part in the history of it.

  • LOVE these films gr8 actors XD

  • lol the interviewer sounds so creepy

  • je croyais qu elle était aveugle. LOL

  • Me encanta ver esto!

  • Did the narrator actually say from her debutte, hey sweetie tis debu (don't pronounce that T)

  • Still stunningly beautiful after all these years.

  • @4skinmasseure yes she is

  • @Lindawatcher me too

  • I remember as a kid I was told I would go blind if I played with my dick.

I remember thinking Mary must have had a busy finger.

  • @kaos3124 Comments on YT are usually boring navel-gazing but that's FUNNY! I almost choked on my carrot.

  • She looks very,very Posh

  • how did this guy get a career in television without being able to pronounce "debut?" Why didn't someone correct him?

  • I like her personality but I hate the way she talks. It`s sort of a Hiliary Clinton robot voice.

  • She's still so lovely and natural looking.

  • yes and yes

  • I didn't realize IBM's Watson is already getting gigs interviewing B-list celebrities. He's like a cyborg Ryan Seacrest.

  • I bet the neighbors that would not let the show be recorded there are kicking themselves.

  • umm his voice scared the shit outa me lol :0

  • i love her as marry ingalls she is so beautiful lol

  • She has the rare qualities of POISE and GRACE

  • She is so beautiful

  • OMG, did the announcer say the "series pilot DEBUTE?" LOL

  • she really did have pretty eyes!

  • how good is she looking after all these years. she looks younger than melissa gilbert. crazy or what. thanks for the memory.

  • @ladytrucker128 Yeah, she is very beautiful.. Even much more so than when she was younger. Amazing!

  • Is this lady 50 ?

  • She is a loving soul

  • Huh? I thought the TV show was based on real life, and therefore she was Mary. Please explain. I haven't read the book, ima90sgirl. I hope I don't sound like a moron (but I am sure someone will tell me in a comment if I am).

  • @baybaygotgroove

The television show is largely fictional and in no way resembles the books other than the fact that a family named Ingalls did live in Walnut Creek MN for a short time.

Then again, even parts of Laura's books are fictionalized.

  • Mary was mean to Laura and Nellie. I heard about it in an interview. I also heard that Mary faked being blind. In the interview, she looks like she can see. Has anyone read the book and know the real story?

  • @baybaygotgroove are you talking about the characters or the real actors?

  • @baybaygotgroove Im sorry are you being serious? You dont really think that this actress was really blind do you? She was playing a blind girl....Thats funny. This show was based on books by Laura Ingalls Wilder and changed here and there for the show. In the books the Nellie Olsen character was based on 2 people that Laura knew...In real life apparently Melissa Sue Anderson was cold and not friends with any of her castmates.

  • @parkercarsyn " In real life apparently Melissa Sue Anderson was cold and not friends with any of her castmates." --yeah, she seems nice but kind of frigid in this interview.

  • @baybaygotgroove The character went blind, dumbass. It was in the script.

  • @castletriglav She is not blind. She can see. You are rude and obnoxious just like Mary.

  • A very very classy lady.

  • what episode is 0:48 ?

  • I'm really annoyed by the interviewer.. It sounds like he's just reading the questions.

  • @grevenpopen

Thats what he gets paid for..

  • She is so Pretty.

  • she stills just the same!! i love her eyes!!!!!!!!!!!

  • stil the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen...

  • She seems well adjusted and down to earth. Hope she is doing well today.

  • it would have been hard to pretend to be blind or was she really blind i wish i could met her like meeting mellissa gilbert

  • @gracesunflower No she wasn't really blind.

  • I want to bang Mr. Edwards. hahah

  • looks better now!!

  • she was the most beautiful girl.

  • Debyoot? LOL

  • i looooooove her eyes!!!!!

    how charming they are!

  • she,s aged well she,s not just a babe she,s a robo babe :)

  • The interviewer voiceover is freaky.

  • Is the interviewer a robot?

  • @Holdenon3 There had to be kind of legal issue with the original interviewer. It's obviously a dubbed voice asking the same questions that the original interviewer asked. You can just tell in some spots that it's not in sequence.

  • @tonicair .... I thought the same thing.

  • Love it !!!!!!!!!!!! This interview was sooo good

  • Que hermosa mujer, desde pequeña tiene unos ojos de cielo..

  • Notice how she rarely finishes the sentences.

  • Note to interviewer:the word is debut with a silent 't',not 'Dayboot".What a dope.

Oh,and I love Melissa, but not keen on her hair here. Her hair is too fine for this 'do.I know because I look terrible with layers too.

  • @blackwhimsy It's mom hair.

  • @blackwhimsy I also have very fine hair and I hate it.!

  • I am reading her book now and its good.

  • She was always the prettiest of all the girls on Little House

  • Google the true story of the Ingalls. What you see on Little House show is not what you true. The real Charles Ingalls was not the center of Walnut Grove life. He barely held on to a job. He didn't really do any farming. He was sort of a drifter. A lot of what you see on Little House is all Hollywood production. The real Ingalls family only lived briefly in Walnut Grove more like less than a year. Most of their lives was spent in Kansas.

  • @BobChippewa I agree except that most of their lives were spent in South Dakota, not Kansas....

  • @BobChippewa Actually, they only lived in Kanas for about a year. Pa, Ma, Mary, Carrie and Grace mainly lived in De Smet, South Dakota.

  • Is she being interviewed by a robot?!!

(Also, in the intro he pronounced the 't' in 'debut'.)

  • its very odd listening to her reaccount her days on the show - her "partnership" with Melissa Gilbert" and how it was "fine" that she got to play the role of Mary - after reading the Autobiography written by "Nellie Oleson" - which btw is a Impossible to put down!!!

Kinda sucks a bit, cause I used to LOVE Mary, n think she was absolutly STUNNING until reading that book...

  • Is it just me, or does she remind you of a young KAREN GRASSLE???

That's just too freakin' weird!!! Her gestures and voice are almost dead-on!

  • God, she's so freakin' GOOD LOOKIN'!

  • She's so talented!

  • I LOVED little house on the praries, Mary was one of my favourite characters, Melissa is a doll and still so pretty. She was a beautiful young little actress with those gorgeous big, sparkling blue eyes. What a beauty!

  • お姉さんキレイになってる。Melissa Sou Anderson is so beautiful. Her images is 有りCW/→×

  • Is it me or does the guy interviewing sound creepy.

  • @buckeyefan7979 i was thinking the same thing...lol...sound out of place...almost fake...make you wonder how he looks...lmat

  • @buckeyefan7979 the guy was probably just mesmerized by her beauty

  • @buckeyefan7979 Sounds kind of creepy. Yes.

  • @buckeyefan7979 Well, yes he was... and for good reason. Last year he went into a Mcdonalds just 4 blocks from his house and shot 13 people and cut to pieces 23 others in 3 minutes of rage. I knew tghat voice has sinister ramifications down deep

  • @buckeyefan7979 lol.. he does sound creepy. lol

  • @buckeyefan7979 its just you

  • Schade das ich nichts verstehe^^

  • WOW. still a great looking lady!

  • Gorgeous !

  • Annoying too professional sounding interviewer... Melissa Sue Anderson looks pretty good.

  • The guy narrating this sounds like he was dubbed in. Sounds horrible.

  • de- beaut! where is this guy from?

  • toujour aussi belle wow .xxx

  • I still like her she still looks good.

  • She's still gorgeous.

  • What episode is 00:50?

  • @promghost07 - It's called "May We Make Them Proud." (:

  • loved the show.

  • My crush from my youth!

  • L.H.O.T.P is one of my mom & my all-time favorite show ever! =)

  • She is older now, obviously, but other than that, she honestly looks the same. She has always had the biggest, most beautiful blue eyes. It's nice to see that she appears to have grown up normally, and her children have been allowed to lead normal lives too. That is incredibly rare with former child stars.

  • Wow, you do have the prettiest eyes. Good luck with the new book!

  • Wow MSA still looks beautiful after all these years!!

  • melissa is preety. if you want the scene of the kiss on brady bunch. type brady bunch-melissa sue anderson

  • :48 what episode is that? I thought I watched them all...

  • Is it just me or does this interviewer sound like a bloody robot.

  • It sounds funny, because the interviewer is dubbed.

  • "From the series pilot 'debyoot...'" WHAT???? The DEBYOOT? Is this guy a moron? The word "debut," as virtually anyone who even somewhat speaks or reads English knows (American or otherwise), is pronounced "day-byoo." The "t" is silent!!

I wouldn't normally be bothered by something so insignificant -- no one is perfect --but this interviewer is presented as possessing an American accent, so there is simply no excuse for such ignorance of a commonly used word! It just irks me, is all.

  • what episode was that scene from at 0:49?

  • "May We Make Them Proud" Season 6

  • when she lost her baby in the fire ( alice garvey died also with the baby)

  • great serie thnks

  • Podrian traducirlo al español??, ojala por favor..

  • @kypoppa what do you know?

  • Comment removed

  • @kypoppa jealous? hahahaha

  • @kypoppa if she reads this i wonder what she would say? i don't think she is the type of woman who spits on people for any reason.

  • She looks like a younger version of Karen Grassle aka Caroline Ingalls.

  • I had such a huge crush on her when I was little !! She still looks amazing today. she seems to be a beautiful person, in and out.

  • they all look very nice y do we have to have perverts on here, not everything is sex grow up

  • She still looks like 18!!!

  • GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!

  • Mary is so beautiful: I love her eye's & he long blond hair. Wow, I'm sure she must of had fun with the other actors in this show. I liked Michael Landon, it would of been great to get to know him on a personal level. I've always loved this show, & still do today & watch it whenever I get in the mood for it. & well, I'm in the mood for watching some more of it, again.
