  • Sometimes I wonder if you throw some Ownhammer impulses at the ole J, if it will sound like the Axe FX lol....seriously.

  • I love my JStation and I've had it since new for about 10 years, but mine doesn't sound like your!

  • Sent you a message with my email hoping you could send me patches. I am about 10 years late to the J-Station game, It amazes me that it still kicks the other emulators/simulators asses.

  • Man, my station sounds like nothing close to this.

  • Enjoyed this, man! Who are your main lead guitarist influences? Just dusted off my J Station - forgotten how cool it is.

  • @philipatoz

Thanks and sorry for the late reply. Richie Blackmore, David Gilmour, Mark Knophler, Slash, Budy Guy,

  • @Tttyme, don't know much about Slash, but the rest are great players. I can really hear the Blackmore and Knopfler in your playing. Gilmour, while not a flashy or technical player, nonetheless sets THE "gold standard" for tasteful, inventive playing and is an astonishing master of tone. He can do more with four notes played in just the right place, with just the right effect and phrasing, than most can do with an avalanche of lightening fast licks!

  • @Tttyme, Hey, man, thanks for responding to my previous post. Question: Do you have a specific sequence you go about when you set up a J Station sound? Meaning, do you say start with a preset and begin altering it or perhaps begin by choosing your amp model first, etc, etc. What is your approach, because you are definitely getting some great sounds out of it? Thanks.

  • @philipatoz I start with The AMP with very little reverb and start changing the speaker cabs until I find something I like. There's one cab that i like to use with most of the amps and that is Mega 1516 (a Peavey 1x15 and 2x8) I think it's CAbinet type number 13. It's really for bass but it sounds great with most amps. If you're interested in the patches let me know how I can get them to you and whoever for that matter.

  • Yeah man, great video! No verbal diarrhea or other bullshit like so many other demo vids, just straight to the chase: the sounds. And great playing. I hope you don't mind but I am selling my broken J-Station on ebay and so I put a link to this great video for sound examples. I love my J-Station but I think the chip needs to be replaced, and I am a non-electronics repair kind of guy.

  • @BuckToff Not a problem whatsoever. Thanks for your kind words.
