  • So true. I wish every single politician out there would see this. Every time I see them trashing their opponents, I want to yell at them, "That's time you could be using to get YOUR message out!"

  • This recommendations is so hard to follow but so true. I am a believer that Tom Peters is right more than he is wrong. This is one that I try to follow and unfortunately it is so easy to slide into doing. When I am talking about the asbestos industry I try to to focus on why Future Environment Designs is special, but it is very hard to stay focused on that, without trashing the competition.

  • Thanks for posting this video Tom. I've developed a system I call the Character Triangle, and respect is one of the three elements of the Character Triangle. I completely agree that not badmouthing/trashing competitors, but instead respecting your competition is the way to go.

  • Perhaps something else politicians can learn from Business?
