Hardcore Cat... But thanks for the review i was thinking of getting one of these, along with a Line 6 Fm4 filter modeler and just like a standard dunlop crybaby wah pedal. Ive had a pretty basic setup for awhile and needed something bigger to accomodate the ESP FX-400 and ESP Eclipse II i bought recently. This doesnt have a terrible ammount if tht mosquito noise when distortion is in does it? Any presets?

Cool review, man. In all my years of playing, I've never gotten to use a Randall amp, so it was interesting hearing it. Has a very "solid-state" digital sound to my ears, but it's hard to tell when it's a YouTube video. (camera/mic used/etc.) It would be nice to hear a bit more about the amp though, just so you know.

hmmmmmm i think u pretty much just sold me on this amp, I do have MT-2 and NS-2 allready, just wasnt too sure how the amp would react to the 2 pedals, not to mention my guitar has emg's too so theres no issues in getting a heavy sound.

I know this may be a stupid question but.. Can you power 2 cabs to get a full stack for more volume with that amp head? I haven't needed to invested into a bigger amp till now (I've been using a Pa system to get by). and I'm interested that Randall.. I just need it to be very loud!

@Ben8nz It doesn't depend on the Head. For a full stack you would need to hook up the head to the cab's input. then for the second cab you need to hook the two cabs up from the output to input on the cabs. Sorry i'm not the greatest at explaining :P

If the cab head = A.. speaker cab 1 = B.. and speaker cab 2 = C, you plug 'A' into 'B' + 'B' into 'C' so both cabs are sharing the power from the one head out put (In series wiring basically).... I saw a amp head that went, 'A' into 'B' + 'A' into 'C'. (Parallel wiring) so both amps were getting full power (120w) straight from the Head. 240w of volume out of one stack.. But I may be wrong. lol All I know Is I'm getting one. I love they're sound and price!

Depends on how much gain you like. The amp is pretty low gain unless you boost it and EMGHZ's won't help either. The active EMG's will push the preamp harder and get you more grit. However, the amp has a good voice and takes a boost well.
