  • the saddest part is at the end where the deku butler is crying over his dead son in the credits, he says in the game that link reminds him of his son, the deku mask holds the soul of his dead son....

  • Anyone that tatl is blue like navi

  • yeah its a sad part but I love makeing Anju happy at the end

  • The reason why he left... was to join team rocket!

  • @dreygon9

omfg this is the greatest comment ever ahahahaha nice!!

  • WHAT ABOUT THE END OF TH WORLD

  • the game scares u?!?! That is so stupoid.

  • lol this is a little sad

  • just started playing majoras mask and the game scares the hell outa me

  • stupid.

  • I expected to see Mikau dying, but ok.

  • Why is team rocket in Zelda?

  • What's more sad is that you're broke son. Go cut some grass. =]

  • @JenkemToweringMidget

You sir have no taste in video games. BEGONE!

  • this game has that feeling of depression, but i like it, one of the best i ever played

  • oh man i remeber this part oh did it ever made my blood boil i couldnt stand seeing her sad

  • I always thought the two saddest parts were Anju and Kafei saying they will greet the morning together at the end of the questline (damn) and Cremia and Romani at the ranch just sitting at the table, speechless on the final day.

the whole game's depressing honestly and then you don't even get to stay for the carnival cause tatl's a douche

  • @LeShyster Yeah, when Cremia tells Romani that she can have some Chateau Romani because she's finally grown up....I tear up every time.

  • @JenkemToweringMidget Go to hell. This game is NOT a piece of shit.

  • The saddest part was the end credits when the Deku Butler is crying over his dead son.

  • @Supaduck0

    Thank you!

If you actually understand the story behind the Deku Butlers son you' realise its the saddest part of the entire game. They couldn't directly tell you in the game because it was so dark.

Im glad someone finally agrees with me.

  • Oh, this video is real. I've seen Anju do that.

  • that was origionally going to be the use of that big tower in the ranch it was gonna be a memorial to epona but they decided to take it out because that would leave players sitting on the side of their bed trying to find out the real meaning of life

  • not many people know this but there is a scene that can make even satan cry they took it out because of this link was origionally supposed to be able to ride epona as a kid so when you would see ganon chasing zelda and he zapped you in the future epona would become ill and it seemed like it was the end for her link was crying and was about to put her out of her misery but then it turned out she was also pregnant right when link was...letting her go she had he little horse then she died(read on)

  • @kragoon1 Did you make this one up? If not then were did you find it?

  • Hearing Giant's theme is the saddest part of the game for me :(

  • It;s sad when you think about this, but it's more sad for that lil girl and her zombie dad around Ikana Canyon!

  • what the fuck this isent sad you bich

  • I think one of the saddest parts in the game is to go to the ranch where that guy is sitting by the chicken coop and he's pretty much accepted the fact that the moon is going to fall and he's going to die. That gave me chills and made me truly realize how morbid of a game this really is.

That being said, it's also my favorite.

  • this whole game is the saddest part

  • Same here, never saw that!!! I don't think is saddest than their encounter...but is sad.

  • HOLY its bloody marry :D

  • wow i totally missed this part of the game

  • 99 arrows..?

  • @ThatSoccerMaster Yes, is a cheat...

  • @JenkemToweringMidget Get out.

  • what about when you take the room key 'cause there is a Link on the list, but it was a goron named Link, so the goron sleep outside the building?

  • Jenkin you sir are not worthy of said game + you sir are not a gentleman :I

  • @JenkemToweringMidget YT trolls suck nowadays.

  • @JenkemToweringMidget you sir are a fucktard

  • @undisclosedxxx ... Second

  • what about the part where the guys has no toilet paper?

  • @dfsgxbvfghqewr Thats so sad... : (

  • @dfsgxbvfghqewr haha i love that part

  • This game is so awesome in a completely different way from Ocarina of Time. Impressive considering they used so much stuff from it.

  • awwww this was my favorite sidequest. I never saw this part though!

  • TEAM ROCKET FTW

  • saddest part for me is if you do this whole sidequest but forget to give Anju the pendant. also, the concept of how Mikau is a father, and his children will never know him, the fact he wasn't dead and you could have given him a potion or fairy to heal him instead of turning him into a mask, and how once Link leaves Termina what Lulu will have to deal with because she still thinks Mikau is alive because you never tell her the truth and she will think he abandoned his family.

  • @TheValiantBob Never thought about the Mikau thing before. Thanks for giving me some thing to ponder with and toss around theories in my head.

  • you have tripple 0 rupees

  • i didnt miss it

  • ....... i dont get it

  • Wtf? I'm not a baby girl 4 year old twilight fan. I don't see sissy garbage like this sad. Boo who. Your marrage ain't gunna happen. Bella got her heart broken move on or make me a sandwhich lol

  • @Desserties Fail troll is fail.

  • @Desserties but why, anju is a TERRIBLE cook

  • oh no, please stop crying Anju... T_T

  • Deku butlers son.

    D:

  • Actually I thought the whole quest was more or less------....... oh..... okay... she's crying now... yeah... I wanna' cry now...

  • you are such a massive douche.

  • I thought the Song of Healing for the dead Goron Hero was the saddest part in the game.

  • Anju's fiance is a douche. Why would you ever leave a cutie like that?

  • i never resally passed this game i only made it up to the part where its like snowing n theres a big invicible goron blowing air at you n pushing u back i didnt know wat to do at that point n ive passed ALL the zelda games but majoras mask

  • @StatusUpdating You need to talk to the goron elder, learn the first part of the Goron's Lullaby, then play it for his crying son, then he'll teach you the rest. Once you learn the entire song, play it in Snowhead and the large Goron will fall asleep and roll out of the way allowing you to enter Snowhead Temple.

  • Alot of the game is quite sad in general, I don't think there is one single point that is 'sadder' then the rest.

Majora's Mask is just a sad story with a happy ending ( and the story is actually very dark if you explore it fully ).

The scene at Romani's Ranch on the third night in the Barn if you save it from the ghosts is very sad.

As is the story with the Deku Butler's Son ( you see the son at the very start of the game and then with his father at the credits).

The girl in Ikana Canyon too.

  • You now realize that Anju has sex with shota.

  • @KneeDeepInTheBread in the book on the tower when the world is ending they do but i never found him in the game so im not sure

  • i would have to say the saddest moment would be in the final hours when anju and kafei reunite and die together

  • This game is owned by Nintendo

    Not by Me

    or you (i laughed)

  • lolz this game is owned by nintendo

    not me

    or you

    ROMDLMBOTIFJKIDHADBIIDIWNIL

  • there hair colors match, and look great! :D CUCCOS!!! <3<3<3

  • dude wtf i just read the description, and saying "little emos" is not funny.

  • I think the saddest parts are

    1) if you attack the man turned into a half-gibdos and his daughter runs in to protect him.

    2) when you save the father and he hugs his daughter and his daughter lies to him saying that it was just a bad dream. And they stay hugging, and hugging, and crying. I find that pretty sad.

  • @RowdyLikeAClassroom i found that kinda scary :o the mummy man

  • @ReaperHei lol i did only when i forgot about him and i was running to the closet and he busted out of it xD

  • @RowdyLikeAClassroom i got scared i dinnt wanna play the game for a long time

  • @ReaperHei Lmao I got to that part when i was 4, it was my brother beside me that had to change his diaper when he watched it x) lmao

  • Cheerful song playing in the background is meant to comfort players :P

  • No, the saddest moment is when all Miaku's friends think you're him

  • The saddest part is in that surreal moment when the caption pops up "You can't save them all..."

  • know what's even sadder? if you do everything an then forget to give Anju the pendant. Kafei is alone, Anju is gone, and everything is your fault that they won't get to live together. whenever I beat this game I always get them together on the last cycle.

  • Awww, even though it's just a videogame, it's scenes like these that really get to you.

  • I think the saddest part is when BEN died. He drowned.

Actually, there is something even more sad.

    It's your turn.

  • That's not really sad..sad is my life.

  • i dont get why if you ring the bell she wont do nothing when he comes out

  • it really apaers in the game?

  • at the very end credits the butler that you followed to get the scent mask went back to the cave at the beginning of the game where his dead/cursed brother was. That was the saddest moment for me. And I'd say the theme the game revolves around is pretty sad in itself. this game just symbolizes SO much its amazing!

  • @TheFishSnacks that was his son.

  • @TheFishSnacks um... i think the dead tree is/was actually his son.

  • not really. just reunite her and kafei and no problems.

  • @princeofalbany No problems?!?!?!? What happens when you reunite them is that by that day the carnival aka end of the world comes and they stay together married as the world ends hugging each other! Thats sad......

  • boooooo

  • Can Nintendo please make another Zelda game like this? Maybe not THIS despressing but at least have a few dark tones to it. Skyward Sword doesn't look like it'll be that dark.

  • @GOODPLAYA20 Maybe they'll make one for the new Wii U.

  • @4everOscar Wii SUCKS. Js.

  • @GOODPLAYA20 yeah the demon king get in link's face and licking his cheek isn't dark at all.

  • that would be so funny if at the end he throws a bomb at her

  • i think the saddest moment was when you finished this sidequest and the watched anju and kafei die together unless you play the song of time

  • I always thought the saddest moment was in the last 5 minutes before the moon hit and the sad music plays and theres the man standing alone in front of the clock tower. I was always stood next to him. Didnt want him to be alone when the world ended.

  • I think the saddest moment is when The Deku Butler is mourning the loss of his son in the end credits.

  • my touching moment is the warrior who cry in the back space of his training ground saying "I don't wanna die, I'am too scared to die..."

  • Who the F*CK would have a mask of their Fiance?

  • @attapi0 It's called "Majora's Mask..." they have masks of their children in THIS game.

  • not that sad!

  • the saddest part is when the skull kid's story is recounted

  • the saddest moment is when mikau dies :( he was so cool D: !!

  • The saddest part that virtually everyone misses is at the beginning where you're a Deku scrub and see the dead one (the Butler's son) just before you reach Clock Town. It's believed the Skull Kid sapped his soul in order to turn Link into a scrub.

  • i think the end of the quest if u fail and kafei is alone in the room when the moon is about to crash is sadder just saying

  • @ranchnugget it was majoras fault, not skull kid

  • a part on the game that makes me tingle thru my body is the aliens at romanis farm where ugotta pick them off with arrows until daylight

  • he looks like this..

'pulls out a James from team rocket mask'.

  • @StuartLikesMusic YESSS!!!!!!

  • @StuartLikesMusic Dude I thought the same thing! xD I actually thought it said "you got the James Mask!" then I read it again and i'm like "Oh".

  • @StuartLikesMusic she is obviously Jessie from Team Rocket and the 2 finally after years decided to get married lol

  • no the saddest part is that you rescue the zora woman's children and they make a song, but to progress you have to go back in time, and play the song to her without rescuing the kids and that makes her feel better but in such a horrible way.

  • the blue/purple haired person is a HE???

  • *puts on Kafei mask and talks to her*

"There's only two days until the wedding."

    .....Idiot.

  • You know, I have seen this part many times, but now i realize just how sad it is....

  • I always considered the Deku Butler and his son to be the saddest part of the game. I always thought that the Skull Kid took that Deku Scrubs body to turn link into Deku Link. In a game where Link does nothing more than try to help individuals and make them happy, it was pretty crushing to know that there are simply some people that cannot be helped, no matter how you try. And the image at the end of the credits, showing the Butler kneeling before what is left of his son, still mourning his loss

  • @xChrisBoulterx Yeah its like the Skull kid put the Deku Scrubs soul into the mask, killed him and turned his body into a tree. It reminds me of the Flute Boy from A Link to the Past. The Flute boy played his flute on a tree stump where a bunch of animals would gather around and listen to him play. Later on in the game however, u find him in the dark world turned into a tree like creature still sitting on the stump. he eventually dies as he listens to his song one last time.

  • @xChrisBoulterx and you can see the deku butler crying next to that dead tree (his son's body) in the ending cutscene :'(

  • if you want to give support to MAJORA'S MASK 3DS, look for operation moonfall, the way you can make your petition is explained there

  • this isn't very but...it is ur opinoin

  • I love this game. Just finished it again, tonight in fact. Yeah it is dark and depressing, I thought it was a fantastic game.

  • Honestly, using the Song of Healing pretty much anywhere in this game is a guaranteed montage of pure heart-wrenching tragedy. I honestly did cry a little with Darmani's sequence, although Mikau's is only slightly less hard on me.

  • The Entire fucking game is sad.

  • there's something really strange in this game...

  • i didn't know that, because i don't stalk girls, better go and save the world lol

  • We had a kind of "Zelda Week" on our dorm floor in celebration of the original Legend of Zelda's 25th Anniversary. We set up various consoles in our TV lounge and played Zelda all week whenever we didn't have class. I watched my friend play through Majora's Mask, but he forgot about the Anju and Kafei side-quest. I died a little inside when we watched the credits roll, but their cutscene wasn't there.

  • That scared me when she put on the mask.

  • @strangesymplexx ...Ummm..... good to know...?

  • I don't think this is the saddest moment, because it can be avoided.

I think the saddest moment is when Darmani is put to rest, he sees all the gorons cheering for him and tears are flowing in his eyes, remembering a time when he was important and alive...

  • This game is owned by Nintendo.

    Not by me

    or you

  • Oh wow I never knew about this moment... I now feel bad for all those times when the days past and I didn't help them...

  • What makes it worse is that he's just down the way... Poor Anju... Don't worry, I got those lovebirds married! ^.^

  • to me the most sad momment was with the little girl trying to hide his father who turned into a mummy

  • I think it's the saddest when the Moon crashes and everyone dies in flaming morbid pool of blood and sorrow.

  • @EvilApple567 Yeah basically

  • @EvilApple567 you know whats even more sad? I ran out of chips :(

  • @EvilApple567 no the saddest part is the ending, when the butler is on his knees crying in front of his dead son..they just had to interrupt that happy ending with that.

  • @EvilApple567 lol

  • @EvilApple567 What's so sad about people dying, compared to a girl with hurt feelings? (kidding)

  • @EvilApple567 Lol

  • @EvilApple567 naw the saddest part of the game is when link defeats ganondorf and walks away with the princess, married her, made her promise not to leave him for anything, look her dead in the face and turns into the real ganondorf...meaning he killed link instead of the other way around.....and raped the princess til she had 50 babies, killed them all "accidently" and took all zelda's inheritance

  • @poizunlady67 The game isn't about ganondorf ;D

I guess the saddest moment is when you get this wedding mask with kafei and you forget to give Anju the letter. Kafei is alone in the town that gets crushed in seconds. He blames himself that he broke their promise.

  • @poizunlady67 um....wtf are you talking about?

  • @NintenPLUSH i just made it up

  • @EvilApple567 dosent anyone even cosider the picture thing on the tree i have a vage memory of it but its been 5 years so not that much but i belive there was a cut scene for that that was sad

  • @EvilApple567 This and when the little girl of Ikana get a shock when her ill father comes out of the celler.

  • Saddest was following the Romani story after failing to save the ranch. that and the music felt gutt wrenching to me.

  • That's not the sadest moment, to me, the sadest is when Pamela found again her dad after he sets free to the mummy mask.

  • @SUPRAKEI It's not sad, it's touching. You'd be sad if a loved one returned to normal after being turned into a monster?

  • @GURGLEGUY12345 No but in this case, it's pecial cuz Link will return in the past and this moment never exist, or if you're unlucky, the moon crash into your head and their retrouvailles were short. Despite of that, it's the fact of knowing what she suffers before who is sad, more that the scene in itlself. Real touching moment don't exist in this game, except the ending, and however, it's nothing against LOVE SCENE between Link & Saria in The Real Legend of Zelda 2

  • @SUPRAKEI Or, you could save her father and fight Majora in the same three-day period. And you didn't think Kafei and Anju's engagement was touching? Or the Gorons cheering for Darmani? Or the Goron Elder cradling his son? Or Mikau and Lulu holding hands in the presence of their bandmates? ...And what love scene between Link and Saria? She gives him an ocarina and he runs off. I saw no hug, no peck on the cheek, nothing lovey at all.

  • @GURGLEGUY12345 Yes, i agree with you, you can defeat Majora the same day but you see, the first time i played this game, i haven't the song who slow down the time and i was so much less trong than now, so that's what happened.I don't remember Lulu and Mikau scene that you said but, like i already said, The Real Legend of Zelda 2 is not a game, and it's in that you have the romantic scene where Link saves Saria and kiss her, even if it's not real, it's the most touching Zelda scene ever.

  • @GURGLEGUY12345 You can find this in there, tape just the title i give you if you're interested : The Real Legend 2

  • @SUPRAKEI Oh yeah. I saw that parody. You know, you can't really count that at all, since, you know, it never happened...

  • @GURGLEGUY12345 Maybe to you, but i have my reason to count that. I wonder however if Skyward Sword would be good.

  • @SUPRAKEI Skyward Sword? Since she has a lack of royal heritage and a friendship with Link, there may be something going on.

  • @GURGLEGUY12345 What are you talking about ?

  • @SUPRAKEI We aren't still talking about touching moments in Zelda?

  • @GURGLEGUY12345 Yes, but don't hope in Skyward Sword, Hope already that would be a good game.

  • @SUPRAKEI It probably will be.

  • 0:25 OMG ITS JAMES.

  • Thumbs up if you think Majora's Mask is better than OOT.

  • @riri93villemomble OOT is a bit better.

  • i made a short simple unique video about the deku butler's son....thats for me the saddest moment in majoraas mask

  • i still have this on my cousins nintendo 64 its fun

  • No! The saddest part was when everyone died when you ran out of 3 days on your first cycle.Admit it. It happened to you. It happened to everyone.

  • @2011Rss 1st you sound really upset over nothing; not to mention i said "I know it's not my comment but.." so obviously I know it isn't my comment

2nd Your second statment is incorrect because that statment is an opinion because there is no way to prove one game is better than another

3rd I have nothing against you, i don't know you, after all this is youtube. Which is exactly why I'm not going to sit here and debate; it's obnoxious and other people will have to read over it
