And the reason Hojo is not the main antagonist is that his threat level just isn't high enough. He's considered a major antagonist though. Sephiroth and Jenova are the ones planning to destroy the world and have the power to do so thus making them the main focus of the group. Or at least that's the way I see it.

I mean Cecil has BOTH Light AND Darkness, but he is not cliched as the rest of the heroes. In fact, FF4 is the BEST of the ENTIRE franchise because of the heroes of said FF game. It's not like Darkness is evil and the ONLY 2 FF games in which proves my point below are FF3 and FF4. In FF3 the Warrior of Light could NOT defeat the Cloud of Darkness WITHOUT THE Warriors of
Darkness, and in FF4 and in Dissidia Cecil had BOTH Light AND Darkness so don't diss him. However, there was one problem in Dissidia and 012, and that problem is THAT YOU CAN'T FIGHT COSMOS! Come on people, aren't you the bit curious as to what the full extent of her powers, we know that she can summon warriors and create crystals from her own powers. But what is her full fighting potential? I mean we know her back story as a manikin turned goddess, but why can't we have a scenario in which The Warriors of Chaos fight Cosmos herself? Is it too much to ask?

The DS port of FF3 is where the name comes from, and, as you can tell, the art predates the remake.

However, there was one problem in Dissidia and 012, and that problem is THAT YOU CAN'T FIGHT COSMOS! Come on people, aren't you the bit curious as to what the full extent of her powers, we know that she can summon warriors and create crystals from her own powers. But what is her full fighting potential? I mean we know her back story as a manikin turned goddess, but why can't we have a scenario in which The Warriors of Chaos fight Cosmos herself? Is it too much to ask?
