  • TWLOHA <3

  • im trying to promoting for to write love on her arms i made some videos for them check it out!

  • renee is my hero

  • It's so interesting to see how this has become global. I remember a couple years ago when I had depression problem's I posted on myspace about them on the to write love on her arms.

  • I suffered from Depression and was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I got to this point because I had hit a low that I wish on no one. I am being treated, and I use TWLOHA as a reminder life gets better, and that Love can beat all those things as bad as they may get. TWLOHA is doing great things, I hope that their message continues to help those who feel that there is no hope and that they can't be loved. When the world seems hopeless just know that you are worth being loved.

  • These guys are amazing <3 It helps people to remember that you don't have to be physically troubled to need rescuing.

  • Ûhm_i_fÉël_sô_lòñÉlÿ_tÕÐàý

  • love to TWLOHA

  • @blackstar1871 go to the website and click the tab "vision" at the top, then scroll down the page and the story will be there :)

  • At 0:32 i wanna read the whole story...

  • @jivepfunk37069 People mess up. We fall. We make mistakes. And sometimes, we don't know how to recover from those mistakes. TWLOHA is about second chances. That's all...

  • @jivepfunk37069 your the reason there are people like this and you should be ashamed.

  • is there a too write love on HIS arms?

  • @panicing4patd dude shut the fuck up u obviously dont know what non profit is what this guy is doing for teenagers is amazing, especially in these times with all the bullying so just back off

  • i don't understand how someone could dislike a video like this. are you really that miserable? we do this for love and we don't want repayment for changing a persons life so that they can feel love and make then feel like they belong. boy or girl. at least some of us know what love is about and how great it's strength is. because love IS the movement

  • Arn't they a band?

  • Huh, TWLOHA has become another organization, such as Facebook, even if they are a non-profit organization, they are desperate for attention. I know you people will instantly say i want teens to cut, but i don't, and i know enough people that cut to overcrowd the site, but over half have stopped, without a clue about TWLOHA. once i explained TWLOHA, they agreed with me.

  • I know stop fighting! God! People who try to make something good look bad make me physically sick to my stomach. :P

  • LOVE is the movement stop fighting which each other

  • Ok everyone hating this needs to calm down who cares if someone is 'emo' its their choice u need to leave them alone get a freaken life and stop causing crap on youtube!!!

  • @sav10xxxx Hey, fucktard. STFU! You don't know what someone's going through! Stop being so stereotypical D< Cutting for some people is a silent way of wanting help, and wanting to forget. Trust me, I thro. I've gone through shit this year. So, util you go through shit, I wouldn't be making fun of TWLOHA.

  • This makes me so sad yet so happy to now that there is some one out there helping other people :'D tears of joy!

  • Unfortunately it's made out to be only for teens... what, adults don't deal with this crap too? If anything, there's more stigma for us than for teens.

  • Thumbs Up If You Looked This Up Because You Saw It On Shirts In Hot Topic :D

  • TWLOHA is a tshirt company. They're douchbags. They only donate 25% of profits, yet they make millions. bighots selling stupid tees to emo kids who theink they are so f-ing individual. It's people like them who make me want to kill myself and bring them along.

  • @lxXDobbyXxl alright, you need to get something straight. TWLOHA is an organization helping teens with cutting and suicide. I, myself, have struggled with both. Do some research and then think about what you're saying. I think the real douche in this situation is you.

  • @buddielover17 I think they're exploiting people's feelings by pretending they care and then only donating a quarter of the profits, payng themselves grotesque and undeserved salaries. The average charity donates more than 88% of profits your idiot. I did more research than you, and I'm assuming that you're home weatring a thirty dollar t-shirt and pretending you give a shit about the human rights crises in the world that are severely more important than a emos listening to My Chemical Romance.

  • @lxXDobbyXxl People like you make me want to die. I'm not an emo and I listen to MCR. :P

  • @buddielover17 amen to that. HE's making me feel like dying! :(

  • @lxXDobbyXxl go fuck yourself

  • @WollfStar Nice come back, clearly a genius. Very articulate.

  • SO MANY DOUCHE BAGS. It's not about trying to be cool with the bracelets and shirts and stuff, it's about the stories and HELPING people. So go put bad comments on Justin Bieber videos like everyone else does because we don't need your crap.

  • @midnightzebra ill SPELL how i wanna ok

  • about 6 months ago i was standing in the street during a thunderstorm about to get hit by a semi. 5 seconds before i got hit i thought of TWLOHA, i started to cry, and i quickly moved out of the semi's way, unfortinutly i got hit by another car passing and broke my left leg, but if i had not thought of TWLOHA i would be dead today. just thinking of it saved my life. i have stopped cutting and im gettting better. i just hope these people leaving mean comments finally understand the meaning of it.

  • @rosarules12 wow that's such a great achievement! well done :)

  • @panicing4patd yall people are so dum this if for good why whould yall be mean gosh some pll just hate if its not good for them yall need to get over yalls self n care about some onle for a chang

  • @rainbowkittty LEARN TO SPELL.

  • sorry 2 years ago lol

  • i agree its stupid to come on here and say harsh comments about this stuff. just because your not going through the pain others are doesnt mean run your mouth about other peoples lifes. just grow up get a life and maybe one day youll have a heart................... i was someone struggling from depression call me names i dont care. but then twloha came to one of my youth groups and changed it all for me.... this was 3 years ago now i am helping people from their depression and problems.

  • No, I'm not depressed, nor have I ever been, but a lot of my friends have gone through this. And yes, I am going to buy a tee shirt to show that I support the organization; to show that I support my friends, like everyone should.

  • to write oh my god are you serious on her arms

  • Comment removed

  • @panicing4patd yes but this was when rene actually needed the money, perhaps now (present day) they do not advertise. although, they have tons of tshirts....very sceptical...hmmm..

  • @jademuffin11 They are still helping people. When you wear a tshirt like that, it feels like you're a part of something that's helping people. Even getting the word out through music. It's not just about one woman anymore. And I don't give a damn where the money is going. Because I know there are people out there that connect more with music than with people. And I know that by supporting such a wonderful organization, I am supporting them. Spreading the word is what it's all about. Spread love.

  • thank you Jamie and Renee :)

  • i wish you guys were here in the philippines... :|

  • I found twloha when I saw a few of my friends wearing the t shrit

  • omg cool!! i saw a tee at hot topic and thought it was a band or soemthing this is really cool....

  • @chik1920 that's sad that you though it was a band

  • i see other comments talking about people not believe TWLOHA and saying its BS and stuff. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, if you dont want to believe this orginization works, then go ahead, nothing can stop you. I on the other hand believe in TWLOHA 100% i know it sounds pretty cheesy but once i learned about TWLOHA i was inspiered to try to help. My best friend was about to kill herself, and after learning about TWLOHA, it gave me the courage to do what it took to stop her.

  • I found out about TWOLHA couple of years ago, and I'm amazed with their vision. I have symptoms of social phobia. Sometimes I have thoughts of cutting myself, and being in that position without any support was very depressing. Wish u guys are here in Indonesia.

  • Peoples.....CALM DOWN!!!!!!! Now then what I came to say....I am so glad I found out about TWLOHA it helped/helps me so much. I boug a shirt at hottopic just because and I knew what it was about and everything so now I helped someone else too...I still think that Renee (spelling?) and Jamie (spelling?) have helped so many people on so many ways.....so thank you!

  • For some reason..

i feel like alot of people who are putting negative comments on here

are waisting their time because they think this organization is bullshit and dont really understand how it helps ppl...its just an inspiration to many others

like if someone can hope and stay strong, they can do it too

and HOPE is what so many people around the world need today

and need to know something like this to inspire them to get the boost for hope

    this is my opinion =)

  • I'm glad this made the news, its important

  • This really makes me want to cry .. knowing that people really do care and really do understand. I grew up in a family that didn't believe in depression and never took me seriously, also, friends that abandoned me. It's amazing that this exists.

  • Hey does anyone know where you can get this video?

im promoting this organization into my high school and i need a video to show when i present my senior project at the end of the year

  • Google a freeware program called "Free FLV Converter" from cnet. Using that, all you need is the URL to the video and it will rip it straight off youtube.

  • @5ummerbreeze thanks that helped

  • you know i kinda have to agree with heedenkyle.i mean i dont think that everyone is going to just be sitting on there computer waiting for help if they wonted help.

  • this, is a bunch of bullshit. I mean, im sorry for all those out there with mental problems, drug addictions, but this is just sad. A program to make sad people happy? And please, prove me if im wrong. Im pretty sure this is all just the same thing as all those other depression stories.

  • You'll never understand it until you go through it. And things like this DO help a lot of people- not everyone, but a lot.. TWLOHA is essentially one big, easily accessible support group.

  • Maybe i will maybe i wont, but im not going to explain my life story to show how i do understand depression. Trust me, i do. But this is just another thing for people to feel proud about. and i HATE that. And im not trying to hate on this program, so dont think i hate people who help with depression, but this is just BS.

  • i've talked to so many people about this. but it still doesn't stop me from doing it..

  • It's not going to work for everyone. For some this is just what they need, to know they're not alone and to rely on others. Others need to find their own way of working through it... the first step is always to want to stop and to want to get better.

It didn't really help me either until I found someone worth getting better for... someone I wanted to be a better person for.

  • Ok Everyone Just Shut up And Just Show Some Love...

    Okay?!

    Sweet yeah

  • anyone awake this time?`someone to talk to?

  • @DarthVailen Your dumb, you have no idea what your talking about.

  • Ha, I guess I was mistaken in thinking that suffering from depression and self harm meant I had a valid opinion on the subject. Silly me.

I'm glad if the program actually helps people who go to them for help.

It's the literal writing Love on your arm fad that annoys me. My personal opinion as someone going through it, and seeing the type of people who act so involved in the "movement" and couldn't care less.

  • I wrote a song just for TWLOHA. You can hear it in the video response I posted on this one. I love these guys. They've helped me so much!

  • TWLOHA<33

    Love

    Is The

    Move

    MENT.

  • Why are people arguing on a video like this?

    The movement is LOVE remember?

  • @allybellas you're right i appologize

  • Not trying to be mean to you kingjman1994 but yeah it is true though

  • Kingjman1994

If you dont like saving lives...why are you even looking this up?

and the planet isn't over populated

every year more and more deaths are caused by suicide

so just keep your negative comments to your self

This is a good working organization...

  • @kingjman1994 there is also a reason why people are trying to keep people alive and suicide isn't the answer

God will take you away when he is ready suicide isnt the answer and god isnt taking you away you are taking away yourself by commiting suicide

  • @MaRzTieR Your "God" is a lie. -_- But that debate is for another time.

  • And also a lot of people like you havnt seen the pain people go through about addiction, self injury, depression and suicide etc and just don't understand

So i dont care what anyone says in a nergative way about this organization and saving lives...it's a good thing and if you're going to say that, then go through the same stuff people are going through

it's not an "emo" issue either it's Humanity everyone at least once in their life go through this type of deal

  • uhm hello ass hole i have been through depression as well for five fucking years and it still goes on for me but i keep myself up....and depression and shit like this goes on through so many people in my life and i like to show them that if other people can keep their heads up as well, they can do it too....

  • and the reason why i'm with this organization is because i have known so many people who have been through this type of shit...my mom went through depression and my whole fucking family went through addiction...so shove thoughs god damn words right up your ass and go chop off your god damn 3 incher asshole....keep your fucking comments to your self...you're nothing but a peice of shit...go hide in your little hole... AND HOW would you know this organization "hardly saves lives"

  • Oh please. my mom had postpartum depression but that doesn't mean i'm going to go tell her "you can do it!".

I'll post my comments wherever I damn well please, and if you don't like it, find another TWLOHA video to gawk at, there sure is enough of them. We sorta have this thing called freedom of speech, so i'm not going to keep to myself. :)

How would I know? Well gee, i've done a little research on them. -_-

  • haha i have researched as well dumbass

    but wutever

    do wut you want

i'll be mature and start keeping my negative comments to myself

    we all have different opinions

if people dont like saving lives then quit waisting you pitty time looking at this type of stuff

but yeah this debate is done

you do what you please and I'll dont the same

    =)

  • @MaRzTieR God, what an illiterate dumbass. -_-

  • @kingjman1994 Ha that's kewl

  • I'm in!

  • @kingjman1994 woah dude... what the hell is your problem? dude i know the world is overpopulated, but there are places that have no population! and you should not consider dying a good thing. people are created to live on this world, and they are not meant to die early! no one is! cutting and suicide is all that certain person's opinion and they can do what they please. i dont understand your "food on my plate" phrase. but anyways, people shouldnt die just because we have many people here.

  • kingjman

you dont know what has gone wrong in their life you dont know their pain. i used to thing everyone who cut or committed suicide was dumb and stupid. but after going threw it, it changed my whole perspective. take it from my experience you dont know anything unless youve gone threw it and even still emotions are different for each person so youll never actually know what they feel like or exactly why they did what they did. And some people dont know thats an option(seeing a professional)

  • @kingjman1994 I hope your entire family starts resenting your existance just like everyone you've ever came in conact with, and you go through depression and see how hard it is, you fucking piece of shit.

  • As a matter of fact, I had mild/moderate depression when I was 13 if you're curious. I still didn't sit on here and whine about how pathetic my existance is then go join a group of people that "support" me. Come on, this is bullshit that they actually HELP anybody. Now stop making assumptions you ignorant twit. -_-

  • @kingjman1994 you're right I shouldn't jump to conclusions, I apologize, but you're still a dick.

  • Well thank you captain obvious.

  • We would stop homelesss if people were loved and our world would be less hateful if we just smiled or helped out and not forget about those people I strongly support this group! I have never been through things like this but I believe anone can help we often underestimate a smile or kind words.

  • I find myself thinking that this is just another complacent ideal that is being shoved down a whole generation's throat. I do believe in love, but i also believe that hate is a necessary component to everyday society. Honesty as a human being is what i stand for. I refuse to "raise awareness" for suicide when disease and poverty has stricken our planet's people. I have severe depression but i understand that no one can stop suicide. It's up to the person with depression to figure it out.

  • Where can i buy the shirts at?

  • I think it goes to helping depressed/addicted/cutting teen help organiations. :-)

  • they donate money to other different organizations. and they use it also to directly help people

  • It goes to helping people.

  • Today was the day. I wrote love on my arm...did you?

  • I did it is my facebook porfile pic right now!

  • ass.

  • i have two TWLOHA shirts :) i love this organization, it helped me out alot when i was going through my addictions/depression

  • Comment removed

  • this is amazing...i love that there is an organization like this.

  • Thank!\ you!person who posted this....I wanted to make a essay....about this.Where can you get the t shirts in Canada?

  • i'm pretty sure hot topic has em.. there are hot topics in canada.. right?

  • nopee

  • that sucks.... they should change that....

  • No, not yet.

  • TWLOHA is such an amazing organization. It's very reassuring to see groups like this in such a dark and secular world.

And did I mention that they make some SICK t-shirts, too?

  • does anyone know where to get those TWLOHA shirts i want one =] ?

  • You can get the shirts at Hot Topic. (:

  • thankies

  • I'm wearing a green one right now hehe

  • My daughter is involved in this organization. She is really making a difference at her college. The part that was missing was that this organization is growing by leaps and bounds at colleges. It is a good work and helps so many that feel no one cares about them. I am so proud of my daughter for giving of herself to help others

  • my daughter is very involved in this organization.

The thing that this story leaves out is the growth that it has had at colleges. They have been able to help lots of students and the organization is growing by leaps and bounds. I am so proud of my daughter for being a part of the cure for these kids that are so broken in so many different ways.

  • this is an amazing organization :)

  • I have so many of these shirts. I feel great for buying them

  • This organization really helps and whenever I buy a shirt I always feel like I did something good...I love these shirts and I finally love who I am now....

  • This is actually sweet, too many people act depressed to get attention and finally there's a way to help people legitaitely.

  • TWLOHA is the best organization ever. They've helped so many people, made people realize they are not alone... If you've never heard of them before, go check them out. They really are lifesavers.

  • I really love to write love. im getting a couple of those shirts soon. i really love how the want to help. this is really amazing. i love this. i no what their going through.

  • Hmmm...

    Join me?

  • I've seen people walking around with these shirts... now I want one.

    Really badly.

  • what a beautiful, selfless thing.

my heart identifies with people with these kinds of struggles. what an important message that we are redeemed and beautiful.

    love it.(:

  • i think this is a very beautiful organization.

  • i thought this was started by the band Sing It Loud, but i guess they only made a video to make ppl aware of this

  • it has relation is christian.

it talks about being close to God and how Jesus reminds us we are beautiful

  • That's right, but you dont have to be christian to be a part of it, im not a christian but i support it =)

  • i saw the shirts at zumiez, and i had seen them around. i wanted to buy one, but my sis was like, "youve never heard their music, so you dont know if you'll like it" and i was like, "um... pretty sure its not a band." i was wondering if its christian. at my school, if our tshirts have words on them, they must be christian stuff, and i want one to wear to school, so i was wondering.

  • I met Jamie not to long ago and he's such a nice guy :) He's willing to listen to anyone and he's created an awesome charity (Y)

  • maybe soon this movement come to d philippines some day!!!they so famous here!!!

  • lol all the kids at my school think it a band T_T lol but really this is an amazing movement

  • mhm same here

  • where do you get a shirt?

  • you can get them at hot topic or if you go to like warped or bamboozle they have tents

  • i just bought a shirt today cuz they pulled me through also.

  • Comment removed

  • TWLOHA is something everyone should know and respect. everyone these days only buy the shirts cause they look cool. but there is much more than the design. TWLOHA is amazing. and i got help from them too. --Nikki on her cousins youtube account.

  • do these two "lies" even matter?

This is all about spreading awareness to everyone about such a wonderful cause.

And honestly, I bet it worked. To Write Love On Her Arms should be a something that everyone should know.

  • You're seriously jaded. Do you understand that lying is immoral??? Especially on a grand scale and to an entire society. It's extremely wrong. You ignorant people frustrate me so much. Grow a mind. Or go get a TWLOHA shirt

I bet youll love it ha

  • If it saved peoples lives, why does it matter ? would you rather this organization wasn't formed ? because if it hadnt, there would be people that would have died. even if its a lie, who cares ? if it saves even one life, its worth it. get a grip.

  • you're a twat.

  • you're a sheep

  • SUICIDE SILENCE!!!!

  • you're a twat.

  • And saving lives...and helping people...and spreading awareness through their shirt sales (you have no idea how many people have asked me about it when I wear my shirt or write love on my arms...I've been one of loads of people who spread awareness that way)...

  • To write love on her arms is an amazing group...... they did really good... Renne and Jamie saved lives

  • I love TWLOHA, all my friends and I write love on our arms every day so we can help spread the word about it ^_^

I got two teachers at my school doing it to

  • It touched me so much when she said "If it helped one person it was all worth it."

I think it's a great charity that helps so many people, including one of my friends. It's touching, truely touching, and the way they connect with people is clever and effective. God bless everyone involved, all those that have been helped and all those still struggling with problems.

  • blagh if only they were in australia
