Everyone who comes here, please read up on the Charitable Endowment Act (HRCE Act) of 1951 in India. It was passed by the Indian government to seize control of Hindu temples and their funds. Today in India, especially South India, the state government controls all Hindu temples and their funds, but does not do the same with Christian or muslim places of worship. It is a double standard a clear prejudice practice by the Indian government.

Gayatri mantra is to be recited only after upadesham from an eligible Guru. otherwise the chanting will not yield any results. The reason is.. proper pronunciation is very very important for this mantra.

do you know where you can find an entire wrighten version of the mantra or can you type it in the description? the versions i find online dont enclude the second part of the chant (everything after "dhiyo yonaha prachodayat").
