@Smarkitude It had good promise but I thought they ended the angle to soon and didn't put the ECW/WCW guys over as much as they should have plus not all the ECW/WCW originals were around so guys like Stone Cold and later Angle had to go to the Alliance to boost up their side.

@alexangel3030 actually jackass, WWE did best for DDP, he was injury prone near the end of his career when he went to WWE. that's why he was brought down the card after his feud with Taker(because if he was gone, you would have cried and bitched even more)..if DDP would have been a main eventer, he would have done more damage to his body and all of a sudden retire like edge..did u ever think of that?

I was interested in WCW and I got the Monday Night Wars DVD years ago. Strictly speaking as a generic rule, Pre-90's doesn't interest me as much as say, the attitude era. WCW is OK, i lost some interest after finding out David Arquette became world champion....need i say more?

Hearing Scott Hudson announce this match gave us a little glimpse of the real WCW. Kudos to Michael Cole and Taz for stepping aside for Scott and Arn that night.

DDP's heel stalker gimmick was an EPIC FAIL. The WWF should have let him be a face, with his WCW face gimmick, instead of being placed in a lame feud with the Undertaker, when DDP would stalk 'Taker's wife, Sara.

IT's a shame this wasn't successful. From what I read, WWF originally wanted to have the RAW brand have all WWF matches and replace the Smackdown brand with a "WCW" brand. It would've been interesting.

@matt4lyfe Well if you think about it, Around the second half of 2005, Smackdown kinda DID become sort of an re-incarnate of WCW. It had the World, U.S., and Cruiserweight Titles, and had guys like Benoit, Mysterio, the Guerreros, and Booker T at the time. XP
