At first I really didn't like the vocal, but the further I got into the video the more I started to like it. You do great with powerful notes, but when you're in the verse and you have to sing a little softer it just feels like it loses something.
good job. one thing tho, don't be so afraid of the high notes. that feeling you get in the back of your throat on "it's a shame" and "what a way", ya know, when it feels almost like there's fluid sitting in the bottom of your throat? Try that same approach on the other high notes and you'll be surprised what happens. good job on a hard song guys.
the guitars are brilliant, the vocals are MUCH better than the first one.. but still, your voice is not cut out for this song. you miss the emotion of the original song when you sing without any throat and power behind it.. i certainly noticed it when you were pushing your voice more in this one, but you still cant get the emotion of it right...
again.. the guitars were awesome. if you guys just had a different singer for this song it would rock.
Lol, agreed. But I think this one did sound really good though. The Foo Fighters sing like they're in the mood to beat some ass. And when this guy pulled up the chorus, for a moment I thought he was too :p
i think he shouldn't push it too hard cause he has a soft and nice voice and it sounds unnatural for him to scream like grohl. IMO he should sing in his style, which means softer. remember it's a cover - self interpretation.
Brilliant!!!

Remember DG is a 40 year old rock n' roller with a lot of miles under his belt - this guy is about 12... He is going to sound a little softer :D

Phenomenal, if I had my eyes closed, you captured the essence of the lead singer, Dave Grohl.
