That's because of the 2-step (launch control. It missfires on purpose in order to launch at the right rpms.

The motor is our basic build. It's a non-sleeved block with our own spec'd pistons and rods (similar design to our race supra motors). Has Tomei Cams , Brian Crower Springs and Retainers. Also has ARP hardware but stock head and stock valves. Our basic motor actually holds the record for the highest horsepower (turbo only) 3.5L motor. It's also the highest horsepower non-sleeved block.

Jason from ProEFI drove the car. Awesome engine management!!! You can see he's launching with the 2-step at the line to build boost. We also just added a mini shift light also activated by the ProEFI Pro48 ECU. From the testing at the track, the factory tach is off by almost 1000rpm from what the motor is actually rotating, so he was actually shifting too early.

pump gas? and how much power did you make with 14lbs?

We are running race gas at the track, just testing the car right now at low boost. Only the fifth run down the track so far. Will be turning up the boost next time. At 11psi, the GT37R made 532rwhp and at 25psi it made 706rwhp.
