no by holding down the play button is putting it asleep but if u hold the back button and hold the down button on the mover thingy hold them down till it turns off!!!! hope that was helpful!!!!

I learned recently that the Zune is fucking nearly indestructable. Well since ive had it, i've over heated it, to about 200 degrees, dropped it a ton of times and left it in the rain.

And it still looks brand new! nothing changed, only thing is my earphones are falling apart.

I have a question. It look like the navigating circle is also a touch some what. In the video it looks like you can flick you finger over the circle thing and then it will move down to radio, and you can also press the buttons? SO it's button pressing and swiping your finger across all in one? Is this confusing because it sounds so?

Yes, that's correct. It's a button you can press left, right, up, down, and in the middle for the select button. At the same time you can swipe your finger across it to move through the menus.

Zune's are actually solid, I had to sell mines cuz I switched to a Mac.. no drivers for osx.. anyway mines was the first generation, and Im telling you it was awesome, never had any issues with it. I dropped it like 15 times nothing happens.. rarely freezes.. my uncle has a 80GB Ipod Classic, that shit freezes all the freaking time.. seriously!! we always have to reset it.. rarely had that issue with my zune... froze i think only 2 times in one year.. to fix u just reset..

i noticed that the 4gb zune that u hav and the 8gb one..has a different finish than the 16gb one..cuz the 4gb and 8gb aren't glossy..and it has a silver back..but on the black 16gb its black all over..and more glossy lookin. The 4gb and 8gb ones look better

to use genius, you must have a itunes account. to have an account, you must have a credit card. Sometimes, when copying music to your library, it won't add for an unknown reason (such as "corruption" because i pirated it, but it works fine in any other player, even WMP) and it never shows any error message. also, on a very powerful machine, it gets unavoidable lag when starting or stopping a song. Also, you must fight apple in order to manage your own music on your ipod. its just annoying.
