the pic of candy posing in the dress and the dude in the cape kinda threw me off but other than that, amazing. it had a very Abaritian feel. Kinda makes me think "Bring Me to life" would make a good song for when they make the movie

I heard it's already been released in England. I didn't read any in depth reviews on Amazon, but I caught a glimpse. One person said it's called "Absolute Midnight" and that they don't really explain anything further in it. *shrugs* Hey, as long as the book series isn't dead, I'm happy.

I'm actually re-reading Abarat and "Days of Magic." I rarely re-read a book, so that's saying something. Man, I hope it's released this year!!! I WANT MORE MALINGO!!!

Clive barker did have a deal going to start with disney, but disney fell through, after they got a few rights. Clive is still trying to find someone to make the movie. He also wants to write everything before the movies come out since Candy didn't age. That way it won't turn out like Harry Potter, having her age many years while in the story span maybe a year tops.

A new book is promised to come out every 2 years. The third one will be out "No sooner than summer of 2009".

There was supposed to be, but it fell through. Later, there was supposed to be an amusement park(and yes, I'm very serious), but this too fell through.

Good news is Clive will be publishing books three and four in 2009. (check out his website.)

Also, he's remaking Hellraiser!!!  He's writing the script right now. He says he wants to delve deeper into the Leviathan mythos, rather than focusing upon Pinhead. It'll be more like the comics, with a whole cast of Cenobites.
