  • I wouldn't mind cloning our MIA pet if I were rich as fuck. It's still the closest thing that I could have of that loved one I had.

Pretty sure the innate tendencies (the "nature" from nature vs nurture) of the cloned animal would be the closest thing I can have in the future.

But oh well.. too.. damn.. POOR!

  • People who want to clone pets are RETARDED! All cloning does is replicate the physical body! If your pet was unhealthy and you clone it, it will still have the same health problems. If you clone a living being the soul will not be the same! Scientists have proved this theory when they cloned a pet bull!

  • @SonsOfLiberty65 but what if you clone a healthy pet?

    plus,

souls have yet to be proven to exist.

  • @DocUnsane then the pet will be healthy, scientist have cloned a pet bull and proved the soul was not the same look it up

  • @SonsOfLiberty65 I did, there is no proof of the existence of the soul.

If what you are trying to say is that they will have a different personality, then yes, that is due to environmental factors.

  • @DocUnsane the people raised the bull the exact same way they raised the one that died and the personality was completely different. it might not be proof of a soul but it is proof that the personality was totally different. So people who think they are getting their dog back are wrong. They will be getting a exact copy of the dogs body but not personality.

  • Ever seen the movie or read the book "Pet Cemetery"?

Once a pet dies, you can never bring them back the way they were. There will always be something different.

Cloning is just about looks, not personality. You could have a perfect tempered, smart dog, and then get a clone that looks the same, but is destructive and not too smart. They can't control how their brain grows and how they act.

  • I just lost my 12 month kitten any way you could clone it by a hair from it

  • it woudnt be the same... u love ure pet for its personality and soul... a clone may look the same but itwont be the same creature u once had.... id be better of just makin the most of my pet's life now and wen it dies ill just accept it....

  • While they are correct in the personality of a pet is from the unique experience, the genes DO hold the behaviour, or "personality" of the pet. I mean certain breeds of animals are loving, calm, quiet, or loud, etc... So you may not get an EXACT copy of your pet, it is possible to be VERY CLOSE.

  • Damn...

  • own my bad typo

  • thats rong. people should not clone for there on fun

  • they don't do it FUN! they do it for SCIENCE!!!

  • yeah but still its kinda sick if u truly think about it

  • Everything about the world these days is sick.

  • Stop Playing God(s)... Im may Be spiritual, but my Conscious of spiritual knowledge is telling me no.

  • i'll let them clone my cat if it is for FREE

  • Don't do it
