  • This recording is a private one: this band, a customised version of a band called "Red Wing" (from Holland) never recorded in a studio and was disbanded after the Breda festival of 1998. A local fan recorded the festival performance and this is one of the pieces. I there's interest, I can MP3 them

  • What is surprising to me is that a string bass was used in 1923 for a recording. Bass sax or tuba was the choice of so many recording studios because Mics could not pick up the low register. Although I have hear gut buckets and Gugs used...Thank you so much!!!!!!! Ran

  • This NORK tribute band was based on the former band "Red Wing" (a Dutch six piece NO Band) completed by a piano player (Herman Wirtz) and a extra alto/C-melody saxophonist (Ton Damm).
