@Ronz93 Bute doesn't want him? Dude how naive was that... It's all about staff and organization, not "want or not want". Froch had no better opponents than Bute, and his technique is below Bute's. In a direct match, which i think will happen sooner or later, Bute would be favorite but you can never say Froch would easily beat Bute or otherwise. You should know that there's not such thing as "easily" in boxing, otherwise your opinion counts for crap.

@Ronz93 Ok this is your opinion, it's cool but mine is different. Bute's esquives (it's French but wtv) are, to me, superior to Froch's, and his punches are no way soft. Yes, delivering timed liver shots alone does make you a hell of a good body puncher, but Bute does way more than that. And Bute is not slow, he's just not as careless as others (for instance, Ward, sometimes), and is actually a pretty fast combo thrower.

@Ronz93 Froch is a hard fisted plodder. He is extraordinarily easy to hit. His loss to Kessler does not speak well for his chances against the much faster, much cagier, much harder hitting Bute. The aged Jermain Taylor made Froch look totally average until he ran out of gas. Don't overblow Froch. His primary quality is ruggedness. He will have to fight the fight of his life to beat the very polished Bute. Kudos to him if he does, but it does not look likely. Bute by UD, maybe TKO.

But honestly, Bute is faster than either Kessler or Froch. Will he give Ward trouble? More than either Kessler or Froch did I suspect, but that won't be enough. Still, he's a very smooth boxer and a sharp puncher, so give him his due. As for Froch, he's likable and rugged, but maybe too old to up his game.

Bute is in a precarious situation. All of the supermiddles are either in the tourney or are out of comission because of it, Taylor, Kessler, Dirrell etc. He does not have many choices. Once the tourney is finished then he gets the winner and then he will prove his worth. I think he is one of the best.
