A colleague's grandfather quit when he was in his 60s. So do not tell me that a 60 year old man who smoked from his teenage years can quit in a day, but you cannot. Just quit! Just do it! Get help if you need to. Do not wait until 2012. Quit right now.

I saw first hand the horror of what smoking does to you, while visiting someone in the hospital. People in the ward were in such a bad way they were struggling to breathe and wearing oxygen masks. As I passed, several of them begged me for a cigarette. Truly it was like a horror movie to me. I've never smoked, but I swear that if I did, I'd have given up that day!

Sure everyone's death are technically their own "fault". Doesn't matter what you smoke, you are inhaling hot chemicals into your lungs, it IS going to cause damage and it CAN cause cancers. All you weed smokers (and I got nothing against being a stoner) need to stop trying to justify your actions by saying it's not as bad as smoking.
