We bought this software (mac) and IT DOES NOT WORK! Computer crashes all the time, crashes when you try to save, crashes when you try to export, we go looking for the saved project files and they are EMPTY! We tried installing on another computer and the problem persists. We asked for help at Power Production and no answer, no one at the phone, simply a bad service!
We seem to be forgetting here that sketching is a form of storytelling and that the creative process should be a creative response to a brief. If the story/planning is too contrived then you will never achieve an exciting interpretation.
Hi Peach...yes, I agree that you should have your story written or planned out in advance. This example was just used to illustrate keeping the screen direction consistent, which is usually not indicated in even the most detailed script.
Wouldn't it make more sense to have a story written before even drawing anything? I'm glad you're showing the process that goes into making a storyboard but I always thought it would save more time to have a story written before a composition was even planned.

@personanongratapic These storyboards were drawn by hand, and I don't use the Storyboard Quick software you're talking about.

@personanongratapic Eh, I think you are reviewing the wrong product mate. Go to the storyboard quick 6 video instead. This series looks awesome!

These clips are FANTASTIC, Sherm. For anyone interested in making their own animated (or even live action) films, this stuff is invaluable!

I'm glad you're showing the artistic process and the camera angles. I always found the flat building to be boring.
