  • cazzo nn finisce maiiiii

  • The ice patches would have formed due to rapid decompression in a semi-humid environment (Like a spaceship moving from the high pressure lower atmosphere to the lower pressure higher atmosphere. The odd shape would appear to be the outline of the entire underside of the shuttle. This chunk of ice would be close to the shuttle and moving barely slower than the shuttle, thus appearing to move oddly across the screen.

  • Thats one big dildo!

  • at 19 seconds, object looks like very advanced fighter yet. See then fast changing angels and positions for the multiple wings on the object when it turns away from the tank.

  • The last thing you want is that fallinf in your back yard! But when I frist seen want it was I thought it was a gaint triky yummm! :D

  • Giant dildo flying

  • isnt is funny in every UFO video the UFO are always tiny, never up close, so far away the its hard to tell them apart from bit of dirt or flys/birds

  • I wonder what that Orb looking thing is at 1:47 . that dont look like ice

  • Space turd!!!!

  • andromeda gerät

  • andromeda gerät 139meter

  • THE VIDEO IS FALSE.

  • @dietrich10441 You are a stupid, retarded cunt :D

  • The tank burns up in the atmosphere and does not make it to the ground. I have seen this first hand and its like a scene from independence day. Its a huge slow moving fireball in the sky, an awsome sight.

  • @lushusone Where are you located when you see the tank burn up ?

  • @lushusone

Mate I just wanted to ask you if you knew what is used to cause drag, when shuttles fall from out of space.

  • @jayhilmes90 The orbiter breaks by slowing its velocity using its OMS engines. Once it slows by just a few hundred miles per hour, it starts to fall until it lands.

  • @lushusone unfortunately you are terribly mistaken. We have recovered every single external tank dropped.

  • @SatoriKensho

I think, you talk about the SRBs, and not of the external tank. The external tank is a lightweight structure without a heatshield, that enters the atmosphere an the same speed, the shuttle does. There is just a little slag and debris left, wenn the remainders of it hit the Pacific...

  • @dispatcher7007 Indeed you are correct, I am talking of SRBs. Good day to you sir

  • @lushusone

I dont really believe this, because you have to be right in the middle of the pacific to see this. There is nearly no land nearby and its off course of the major shipping lines, because some parts of it do reach the ground.

  • What happens after the external fuel tank touches down on earth again? How do they take it back to NASA?

  • BIG VIBRATOR!!!! Where can i found???

  • A oversized exstacy pill in space, tampon, bullet, bomb?

    aaaaah its a tank.

I do always wonder, whats the amount of fuel that they throw away. I can imagine they always waste a few percentages of the total fuel tank. it only releases just before orbit, so you always leave some fuel. Not much i can imagine, but some.

  • OMG ITS A GIANT FALLING TURD!!!

    HIDE YOUR CHILDREN!!!!!!

  • i dont think it ever re enters

  • Bombs away!

  • Is there any video of one of these things burning up on re-entry? That would be cool, watching it spin in circles isn't all that interesting!

  • 0:24 ??????

  • Its a used tampon

  • IS SPACIAL GARBAGE!!!

  • It burns up in the atmosphere. And yes the big one is ice, the smaller spheres are dust in the shuttle cabin.

  • imagine how much that would suck if it landed on a cruise ship!

  • Lawl... its a BULLET not a rocket...duhhh! they zoom it..thats y its big^^, lol!

  • the ptach of ice ias the nasda logo l;ol

  • id mistake it for a bigger and more badass moab bomb from the ground

  • The disentegrate as they reenter the atmosphere and the small pieces that do survive land in the Indian Ocean

  • Are the tanks recoverable at all or do they burn up? Or do they actually fall back to Earth? And if they do fall back down, how the hell do they know where the tank is going to land?

  • imagine that in ur back yard ;d

  • plotchickens that's fucking hilarious!

  • man that must be pickin up some fuckin speed

  • lol

it's like the shuttle dropped a huge, motherfucking TURD .... look at that shit fall

    hahaha

fucking shit video it's like a big dong or something .... fuckign cunts.

  • yeah i saw from a dfirent angel 40 sec vidoe look like it cud have been some kind of craft but now i wonder still shud it even be ice wat if its a being i say that cause how is ice forming on the shutel wen its giveing off so much heat from rocket burst the vidoe shud be analized and no the exact fact ..... the shadow.....

  • the man on the video tells you what they are ..... ice

  • lol at 0:24 - 0:26 theres a guy riding that ice glacier in the sky!

  • is there any video of the tank beginning to burn up?

  • It never gets high enough up or goes fast enough to burn like the space shuttle does on re entry.

The space shuttle burns like that because it's going in excess of 15,000 miles an hour when it comes in for re entry and at that speed our atmosphere gives off a lot of resistance.

and its not really burning per say. it's kinda like rubbing your hands on your jean pants really fast. The Friction and resistance makes your hands hot. same deal on the SSC, Just on a mad scientist scale.

  • how many parachute with a big tank

  • None, it just burns up in the atmosphere.

  • I was told they retrieve the tanks from the ocean.

  • only the two SRB's (Solid Rocket Boosters) placed at both sides of the ET during lift-off, are recovered from ocean as they descent hanging on parachutes. ET is completely desintegrated as it reentryes lower (and denser) part of atmosphere over the ocean

  • With the hundreds of launches we've had so far and all the satelites floating around earth, every launch brings more debris up there as well. It doesn't have to be all ice, if a mini meteorite strikes a satelite it might knock off some parts as well.

  • that looks like a flying piece of shit, lol. space shuttle shit, lol

  • all this space junk is going to cause some problems

  • No, it burns completely down when entering the atmosphere.

  • Does any parts of it fall back to earth into the ocean?

  • bei 1Minute und 50 Secunden... left suite ( linke Seite ) ??? white Objekt.....

  • so do the tanks just float away into space....always wondered

  • No... the tanks break up in the atmosphere as their orbits decay

  • 0:24 A big piece of spacial trash appears very near to external tank.- Actually International Spacial Base almost crash recently with a piece of an old broken satellite.

  • Did you read the discription.

Have you seen the other vids of this phenomena. Its called ICE.

  • That is amazing footage of that tank. How did they get it to stay in frame so well and never leave the area around the shuttle. I mean it's never out of focus. That was done by a "hand held camera" Well I think that that was damn good for a "hand held camera" IT seemed a bit better than that actually but hey who am I?

  • "...but hey who am I?"

    you're not an astronaut.

you do realize that things move very slowly when they're far away from you, right? so it's not hard to keep the external fuel tank in focus. and on top of that, they separated in the same direction, so it only drifts away from the orbiter. it's not like they fucking blast the thing away. it gently separates, otherwise they'd tear the orbiter to shreds.

  • You do realise that some cameras now can keep the foreground AND the background in focus all at once.

A special lens (I know not what it is called) invented buy an Australian to my knowledge came up with it. Now used a great deal in the movie industry for obvious reasons.

  • and i'm freeeeeee!

    free fallin'!

  • dildo :D

  • C'mon xD only am alowed to think pervert xD :D

  • haha i'd see that thing and be like "oh shit! BOMB!!"

  • wow that tank seemed to fall forever, just incredable, such a magnificent achievment by the US and Russia and all other countries that have put a man into space

  • I think its in a synchronous orbit not falling.

  • that is the thing when space shuttel is going to lunch you can see that thing in the middel

  • The velocity of the ice relative to the orbiter and ET is absolutely tiny compared to the velocity of all three with respect to the earth. This small difference in velocity is easily explained by the maneuvers made by the orbiter to get away from the tank after separation and to turn over so the astronauts could see it and take this movie.

Liquid water cannot exist in a vacuum. Part will boil, removing heat that freezes the rest. Then it slowly sublimes. That's why you see ice.

  • OK, but the tank should also show a velocity difference then too, no?

You are reffering to OMS burn? Yes an OMS burn could explain the ice, but not the tank.

  • Do we know where the ice came from? It could have come from the tank, or it could have come from the orbiter, perhaps from behind a main engine, or from the LOX/LH2 disconnects to the tank, or from the doors around the disconnects. If it broke off the orbiter while the orbiter was maneuvering, that would certainly explain why the ice has a different velocity from both the tank and orbiter.

The OMS burn is much bigger and is done later to keep the orbiter in orbit while the tank burns up.

  • There is a velocity difference between the tank and the orbiter in that video. It's small. If it were zero the orbiter and tank wouldn't have moved apart!

The tank will also move ahead of the orbiter even without any further RCS burns because it's in a lower orbit with a shorter period.

  • Simple. The shuttle operates in low earth orbit. Contrary to what you may think, that is not a total vacuum. There still are atmospheric gasses present at that altitude. Very very thin, but still there. The ever so slight drag on the ice which has far less inertia than the shuttle could very well explain the minimal velocity differences.

  • @lushusone simple physic i supposed, larger object falls faster than smaller object... Solid steel melt longer than ice?

  • it lokks like a ciggare

  • it's spelled "cigar"

  • looks like foam packing

  • Did you recorde this video. I want to go see the Space shuttle launch one day. Too bad they are going to be out of service in two years?

  • It's funny, everybody here believing it is ice. I'm puzzled. If it is ice, how come it is not getting dragged down by the forces of gravity like that object is. I didn't know Ice could float in the sky. Yes i know clouds do, but if that was ice should't that be falling to the ground like a big hale stone, just asking? Of course it could be a perfectly round cloud, who knows.I think some of the stars are lowering down to our heavens and they appear as orbs.

  • I'm making a fool of myself here, i just watched the whole of the vid and realised they where on the surface of earth, of course everthing is floating there, so please....no replies insulting my intelligence please, dont waste your time, lol. I'm going with the ice theory. One other thing. download the vidoes of "Prophet Yahweh" i believe hes false but he makes these things that look like ice appear when he wants on camera, check it out.

  • i was about to say

  • It's not even ice - it's reflective NASA debris.

  • Looks lik a giant PENIS! HA HA HA HA HA

  • thesouthparkguy...you said in your comment that the ice is slowing down!...how can ice slow down in a vaccum?

  • thesouthparkguy thanks for takin the time to explain, and after going though many videos taken of the tank after launch you do infact see ice in almost every one so i think it is just ice now, gonna change the title now i guess huh. hey wait alien ice life forms ? bah

  • OOOOh shit wait a minute i see an ufo by my window right now!!! Oh my god they are comming to destroy human civilization !!! ah no, sorry it was just a fly stick at the glass

  • Yeah, I'm sorry to blow your fun, but this is ice dude. In orbit, things work differently than they do on the ground. The particles wouldn't necessarily have to get in front of the shuttle to pass by the external tank like that. The ice was obviously falling off of the shuttle and passing between the shuttle and the external tank. The ice is slowing down, so it causes the illusion that it's coming from in front of the shuttle, when in reality, it's falling towards the earth.

    -my analysis

  • I like the video, it's very cool to see a shuttle tank falling like that, but no UFO next to it, come on, this is the hysteria that makes the rest of us with real footage look bad. It's ice that's it, good footage no doubt about that. You putting UFO on it to get hits is lame.

  • that's clear Ice. I can't believe how some of you got hysteria about UFOs. are there some flying objects other than our planes in space? yes!. are there many? I don't think so. stop the hysteria and get real? that's Ice and not flying object. are they from outside Earth? NO! NO! NO!. who they are? we know well who they are, we scare to admit it...

  • consolador ete.....atacando la tierra..????

  • at 1:50 thats ice to the left from the tank?

  • Thats what nasa would like us to belive, yes that white ICE.

Its between the shuttle and tank and should be moving at the same rate as the tank and shuttle but its not its much slower and had to originate infront of the shuttle for its trajectory.

  • That object looks like one of the objects a user here on YouTube seems to be capturing on film with his telescope. I forgot the name, sorry.

  • that looks like my DICK

  • its a flying dick dildo

  • fucking tank of shuttle never looks like ufo.boring

  • Is That OPRAH'S DILDO...

  • sick detail on that triangle holy damn! mad sci-fi looking. Pumped! good sighting, better than other external tank sightings.

  • OK i need to point out the fact that the "ice" object is passing between the tank and shuttle, and its traveliing at a different speed then either. It's moving ahead to behind the shuttle. First off, ALL object should be travelling at the same speed (like the tank.. its going same speed as the shuttle), so therefore this object MUST have come from INFRONT of the shuttle at one point. So how did it get infront and still be ice from the tank. It would be moving at the same speed if it is ice.

  • Wrong. Have you ever seen a snowflake? Okay, now a hailstone? A sheet of ice, which is what you can see here and often in these launches, has greater drag to weight ratio, and, thus, it will fall at a slower terminal velocity.

  • lol come on now thats ice from the feul tank, even my kid knows that lol ufo ha..i was at the center when thay said it was ice so no ufo sorry to say, but only ice its commen to see after the tank leaves the shuttle, even the guy said it....:p if your not talking about the ice then what about clouds, u have to remember that cam is zoomed in makes everything look closer and bigger so clouds or ice...or both..

  • I've seen this video on TV with better resolution, and it's very clear. YOu can see 3 spheric objects following this main fuel tank while falling. Unbelievable.

  • Good eye, i saw them too, but below the tank a good distance traveling opposite direction of shuttle and station so again .... ICE ???

  • Also, about the ice and tank falling at different speed, I thought in 5th grade they teach you that objects fall at the same speed unless there is air resistance. Ice lacks air resistance, you need a really thin and light sheet of ice to get air resistance.

  • Wrong. Have you ever seen a snowflake? Okay, now a hailstone? A sheet of ice, which is what you can see here and often in these launches, has greater drag to weight ratio, and, thus, it will fall at a slower terminal velocity.

  • UFO = Unidentified Falling Object?

The object is between the orbiter and the external tank, which is where you would expect to find ice dislodged from the orbiter when the RCS thrusters fire to move the orbiter away from the ET.

Were it an alien spacecraft disguised as a chunk of ice, the aliens piloting it would have to be pretty small... mouse-sized, I'm guessing. I have no idea what they would get out of flying their ice chunk shaped ships near the STS each time it launches.

  • No, it can't be ice because remember that just before STS-121 they added heaters to the external tank had heaters. Though remember that the only aliens on Mars would have to be microscopic germs, maybe smart germs, because there is no sign of visible life.

  • Ice forms on the engine bells as well as on the thrusters. The Heaters are only for the Bipod ramp, however ice still forms in places.

  • fuel tank

  • its a huge bullet

  • Its the Main fuel tank from the shuttle

  • I guess they are ufo's because it is not conclusive. I can't tell what they are but it does seem plausible that it is ice from off the shuttle. Theres no way to check.
