lancair.... best bang for your buck. if you dont want to build, you can buy lancair's already built by people anywhere from 200k-400k, which is still a hella lot less then pretty much anything at all that will easily pass 200 kts any day of the week.

In the current market, you can get Lancair 360's for $80k and below. They're good for right around 200kts in cruise.

colorado no, southern alberta, just south of calgary was the location spot for the vid. as for the flying qualitys... yea you have to pay attention... cause at 300+ kts... shit happens fast. but at the same time.. are not that bad, just have to stay current on them

the legend will do 400 ktas @ fl 290 and that particular lancair will only do around 280 - 300

in the shoot they were only doing around 200 kts

both aircraft started off life as kits as they entered our shop (as a builder assist center) and they have evolved into what they are now. the lancair 4 has the walter 601 in it and the legend is the first of its kind to be running the garrett 331-10 (1100hp) both are a blast to fly
