i have a question. how do u find out or create an account name? in the trial, my account name was my e-mail, but some ppl use other names for their account name in paid game

@a0369 tks but i figured out my real problem: WHERE do i make a wow account? in battle.net says i must merge a wow account to my battle.net account, and for that i need a wow account name and wow account password, neither of which i have

@Thetatti2000 You can always add a credit card to the account or use the other methods such as Paypal. You can also use the Blizzard store to buy time as well.

@mrtuma123 The game would need write access to your computer so that when new patches come out, the game can update itself. Also, when you make changes to some of the settings, they are saved to your computer, which would also require write access.

I already downloaded the game not the trial version i just got it for free from my cousin but can you give me some info on how to pay for my account without a credit card?

@bannedaccount57 You don't need a credit card to play the trial version and technically you don't even need one for the retail version either. If you buy game cards and the retail box at Wal-Mart, you can add them to your account without using a credit card.

@RedBloodyMoonTV Are you using an Administrator account? In order to write to that directory, you need to use an account that is an administrator.

i dont get how to convert my account....i get up to the part where i put my username and password so i do that i press continue and then it sais invalid username .but its my username and i couldnt be anything else!!!...so i try my email and that still wont work!!!!! i really need help plz plz plz!!!

You have to use your E-Mail because that's how the new system works. Make sure the password is correct as well. If you think you forgot the password, you can have it reset by clicking the "Forgot Your Password" link on the page. One last thing is to make sure the address is correct and that you are not submitting the information on a phishing site.
