@diablo9333 hey, well first of all to check if it's real or fake check the following:

1. The red color should match the one on my video.

2. The back of the body, neck and head must have a much darker red color.

3. At the back of the head there will be a round Epiphone limited edition symbol (its not a sticker)

4. On the head there will be an olg signature saying "Slash"

@diablo9333 i see. 500 is a fine price. You wont get much lower with this guitar. Well as far as i can tell the about the guitar everything seems fine. It seems legit. Everything looks normal, except for the color on the back, which might be because of the lighting in the room the picture was taken. The only thing im suspicious about is why he didnt snap a picture of the epiphone mark. if that is there, then im almost certain that's its the real deal, although im 80% sure as it is now.

@Vanquiza Actually he honestly knew nothing about the guitar. I think he is just lazy. He doesn't even play guitar...it was his girlfriend's. Oh well what can I do but do some more looking.

@diablo9333 Other than that the guitar is over 15 years old, so you need to check its conditions. check the fret board so see if there are black oilish marks. If there is the guitar hasnt been taken care of well, but its nothing u can't wash off. Also you need to play every single note on the guitar. Just play every fret and make sure that the guitar doesn't make a buzzing sound. If you hear buzzing noise often it means that the metal on the frets are scraped, and you wont get a clean sound.
