I would have only one question at this point. "they" claim the DOT has the right-of-way 7 ft from the curb; therefore "they" can confiscate any property as they see fit. OK, stop mowing the lawn or other 'maintenance' within that 7 ft zone. Tell the DOT 'they' can come mow or maintain that 'property' since you have NO control, right to or responsibility for that property. The public had better start standing up before its too late. @LEFT4BASS Here in Chicagoland we made the news this week because the public school were thinking of BANNING children being able to bring their lunch to school because the school lunches are supposedly HEALTHIER.

This story made it on Drudge, The Blaze, talk radio etc.

A spokesperson for the CPS had to back track and say they were NOT going to ban packed lunches from home altogether and they were misquoted, but The Chicago Tribune stands behind their story.

Better things to do? For State officials, oppresing it's people by making moronic laws and wasting resources enforcing those laws are the better things to do. Thats all state and goverment officials know how to do.

The problem is that politicians do not know how to solve problems. They only make laws and restrictions to limit freedoms, which doesn't work. Once you realize our true problems are technical, not political, you will then realize how useless and oppresive politicians actually are.

The US is not a true democracy. Politicians are simply put there to give people the illusion of choice. 2. Politicians are already bought and paid for by corperate lobbyist before elections start. "These people" are the now police state we live in that is all about who you know and carefully dealing with a cops ego. The cops have no real crime to deal with but yet they treat all people other than other cops as if they are criminals if they challenge their authority. This attitude has greatly grown since the "Patriot Act" after all they are hear to protect us.
