michel qussi cahnged his physique for a few films. in the average film, "to the death" he was quite bulky as well. great fighter though, loved him the films he starred in (particularly as tong po). bonafide bad ass!

this fight is by far the most spectacular and It is the best knockout of the movie. The chinese challenger received a brutal beating and he ended KO outside ring unconscious totally. An epic win and the dream of every fighter.

Ya, they credited Tong Po in kickboxer cause they wanted the name to sound orientiel. In Kickboxer they gave him makeup and credited Tong Po (himself). I always thought Tong Po was a real pro-kickboxer.

Suan Parades is meant to be a Brazilian, where the Capoeira comes from. you see him practicing in a brazilian environment at the start. Its not totally capoeira he does though, its kind of a mix between that and thai boxing.
