  • Saw this powerful film last week at a NYPIRG event at Hunter College--very powerful and inspiring. This is why people want to #OccupyEarth: we need a system that is fair. I love the quote from Eli Siegel at the end of this film!

  • What a beautiful film against the ugliness now in America--of homelessness, hunger, & lack of health care. I love how it ends with waves of grain superimposed over a little girl, because it reminds us that if our resources were owned by ALL Americans, there would be wealth enuf for everyone to have good lives. I agree that Siegel's question, "What does a person deserve by being a person?" needs to be answered honestly for our country to thrive.

  • I love this video! Come on people, make this question alive! Ask it of yourselves and others....make it known!....it's the means to human decency and a thriving economy for all.

  • With hunger and homelessness in America shamefully on the rise, this powerful film shows the agony of people and also their dignity. It also points to the solution that will eradicate these horrors. I think every member of the Obama Administration, and in Congress should view the film once a day, and then honestly answer the question Eli Siegel asked: What does a person deserve by being a person?

  • Moving film. It represent what thousand and thousands of people are unfortunately suffering from throughout the country, but also points to the hopefull solution to what can have this country be healthy and strong. Congress should be made to comment on it before they vote for anything where peoples lives hang in the balance.
