  • Ol' Man - thin voice- but I liiiiiiiiiiiiike him!

  • He used to sound so much better

  • Just brilliant. His voice still sounds great even ofter 40 years

  • this is really bad, but whenever I hear this song, I think of Hurricane Katrina. =/

  • I love that twangy, crunchy guitar tone.

  • love it!

  • Slaughterd Lamb- keep to the roads; stay away from the moors

  • Almost 30 years since the album was released. Still sounds just like it did in 1969. AWESOME.

It's 2011 and I have yet to hear anything in the "music" industry that wasn't made by a cold, soulless machine. And Auto-Tune. Fuck Auto-Tune. Fuck this generation's music.

I'm gonna go listen to my entire record collection now. That's the media good music was recorded on.

  • @mikeyhncc1701d is the answer, "the prophet muhammed and cartoonist"? that really should become the name of a pub somewhere...

  • the slaughterd lamb if im not mistaken

  • He still sounds awesome and the song too

  • American Werewolf in London. Name the pub? Prize for the winner.

  • Na, még egy!

  • hehe me and my college band have been told to learn this. its going pretty well :)

  • Still got it. Yeah.

  • Goddam his voice hasn't changed a bit. In fact this is better than the performance he did yrs ago on the Johnny Cash show.

  • When ever I am reading Stephen King this song and Dont Fer the Reaper are a perfect match!

Now I just need to find some more songs to create the song list

  • Still wearing plaid shirts, but no more leather pants?

  • any one who doesnt know who the drummer is ------well what can i say ----try the pratt channels ----music is to much for you ----

  • who the fuck is the douchebag drummer? He looks like Vin Diesel in leathers. Jesus, session musicians.

  • 62 years...and still rockin' the house!

  • Hard to believe how well he can still sing unbelievable.

  • Someday Never Comes is the best CCR song ever. It has one of the most unique chord progressions ever in a rock song.

  • id have to say looking out my backdoor is the best CCR song

  • i saw some of the lyrics in Stephen King's "The Shining"

  • I used to think Proud Mary was the top song. But Bad Moon is The Best!

  • @Crintingnut Every one has a favorite CCR song. Mine is Willie and the Poor Boys

  • One of my favorite songs!

  • some people have IT, and never lose IT, Fogerty has IT in bucketfuls.....

  • it's a bit sad that the audio of every foggy live video has been so extremely post-processed to a point where it doesn't even sound like a live performance anymore. clashes a bit with his image, I think.

  • @Thazzmaname i just saw him LIVE yesterday at bluesfest and he sounds exactly like the albums its insane how good he is live

  • I first saw CCR at the Royal Albert Hall in London while a college student in London. They were amazing then. The fifth and most recent time was in 2007 or 2008 here in the US. Fogerty is STILL amazing. He is timeless.

  • god i was born in the wrong era..... dont get me wrong im a metal head and straight up rocker but why does my generations music of pop and rap suck soooo much ass?? and this is just godly i wonder sometimes gotta love that good ol CCR :P

  • @RobbyEricksonMusic thats because ccr is beautiful:) bless you:)

  • Simply great!

  • Hi Fogerty Fans. Can you help me find his song that sounds like this "high de high"?

  • @jodisass i think ur talking about ...the old man down the road

  • @jodisass he take the thunder from the the mountain

he take the lightning from the sky

he bring the strong man to his bended knee

he make the young girls mama cry

    you to to hidey-hide

you got to jump and run

    you to hidey hidey hide

the old mans down the road

  • @jodisass he take the thunder from the the mountain

he take the lightning from the sky

he bring the strong man to his bended knee

he make the young girls mama cry

    you got to hidey-hide

you got to jump and run

    you to hidey hidey hide

the old mans down the road

  • he still got it

  • The music really does have that hand-clapping "revival" quality.

  • I can think of no better example of the absurdity of comparing one guitarist or band to another that this. Does it make any sense to say, for example, that Jimmy Page was better than Hendrix, or Clapton better than Fogerty? Notice all the foot stomping, hand clapping and singing along in the Creedence/Fogerty concert videos? Fogerty's music has a beat and rythm that you can dance to. That has been key to its popularity and longevity.

  • his voice never changes! simply awesome!

  • One word left to me - unique !!

    John - a great voice - a great song and a great artist - thanks !

  • I still remember the first time I heard this in 68. It literally blew me away. Great Song!!!!

  • VERY cool!

  • GREAT SONG 4EVER!!!!

  • vocals r very good but i think it lacks the punch and grit that this song had when it was ccr. It sounds very cleaned up and almost too perfect in my opinion

  • @swabinson Age and a live setting my friend.........

  • This feels a little rushed to me. :(

  • Oh to be young again!

  • MEMORIES Lou......xoxoxoxoxox

  • John synger og spiller utrolig godt!!!!

  • @albertejensen2001 det har du rett i

  • @albertejensen2001 Trolig den sangen han synger best av alle de andre!

  • this guy is a poofter

  • @nicko2600 Any reason for that ludicrous remark?

  • @Robbrad91 Oh John Fogerty is an asshole, but he's a really talented asshole. I mean, granted Creedence was his backing band in every way (he was lead singer, lead guitarist), he still ditched them like a tool. I'm gonna guess that's what nicko2600 meant.

  • personally i prefer creedence clearwater revived but revival is original

  • GREAT SONG 4EVER!!!100*

  • How often is 'legend' used inappropriately? Not with this guy.

  • @nicko2600 your shit nicko ass hole

  • this has to be the most depressing song ever written to the catchiest tune ever (:

  • @gustavorockshaha you fag

  • Right up Copland Road too!!

  • Greate songs, John at the peek of his form... but what a bad crowd !

  • John seemingly singlehandedly crafted Creedance with his powerhouse of songs and direction; with a voice that has always remained golden and has thankfully never aged, and that suits him well in his solo career....rest in peace Tom.

  • Still has a great voice

  • God bless John Fogerty and..... Kenny Aronoff too!!!

  • I remember in 1988 this song was running in my head right before a drunk driver hit us on HI-105 outside San Jose, Ca. It was almost like a warning to me when God made me remember this song and I was praying and God took care of us though my young son was injured he is fine today!

The song was almost like a message from God of what lie ahead but prayer changed things and God protected us from death.

  • @wonone100 I'm not sure if that highway was 105 or 5 it has been years since I was in California.

    I think 5?

  • @wonone100 its highway 5 also sorry for posting this late

  • Oh yeah, he's still got it.

  • his borther Tom fogerty was the rhythm guitarist. john got into a fight with the record labell and he felt that stu cook the bassit and doug clifford the drummer took there side.

all still play music just not with john which is a shame.

  • John Fogerty since my infance. My first vinil was Have you ever seen the rain. The disc still with me 39 years!!!

  • Is this dude a prophet or what?

  • @hootenzie I'm sure he is. The relevance of that song is beginning to become quite apparent. Goddamn earthquakes. Haha.

  • yeah... I know that when I play you are so ISHD

  • Rules !

  • great Fog !

  • i preferred cosmo as a drummer!

  • nope

  • hell yeah Creedence and Clearwater still kicking ass lol love it

  • A maior banda de Rock, que já vi tocar.

  • Damn he is still HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes he IS!

  • fucker just looks a drumer...if he is or not...well I believe he is

  • i hope he comes to germany one time

  • He will be in germany in July. Köln, München, Mainz, Leipzig, Trier, Hamburg! look up his website! viel Spass!

  • He's playing this at just the right tempo...sometimes John plays it faster than usual! This is great!

  • P.S. Ole Harv told me this years ago. I got my akc papers,-arrite?! John, may your happiness and success increase in the new year and forever! Cheers! Peace on the planet. Let the fortunate sons take their greedy selves to antarctica.. and stay there!

  • Hey John, I hear you are around the stadium sometimes. Lets have coffee! I would love to just say hey! For all the years of your best contributions.. and cuz you are close-by! Great share, thanks!

  • If Fogerty, Fogerty, Cook, and Clifford got back together, do you think they would be called Creedence Clearwater Revival Revival???

  • Probably Creedence Clearwater Revival Revisited

  • Still sounds great, and with Kenny Aronoff on drums it really rocks.

  • BAD MOON RISING is the greatest song of all time!!!!

  • @gordon2040

All Fogerty / CCR songs are the greatest and the best !! 4 EVER !!

    ALL !!

  • One of the best vocalists of all time.

  • *the best

  • Comment removed

  • ASSY!!!!!

  • He still sounds incredible.

  • Wow, hadn't realize how great his voice is still.

  • I have only heart him in some commercial on tv2 charily in denmark but if I shale be honest it sound so great

  • John Fogarty WAS the HEART of CCR. Without him, they would have never been heard of. It's great to have him back performing. He looks great and he sounds great!

  • J'aime trop ce chanteur est sont style de musique

  • i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Michael - that is their monitor. when you perform, the sound that goes into the audience is called the "house mix", and it is balanced to produce the best sound for the audience, but the musicians need to hear themselves. For concerts, instead of speakers on the floor, the musicians have a custom earpiece fitted to their ear, usually it's wireless, attached to a receiver in their pocket or on their back, and the earpiece acts as the monitor.

  • I know how a sound system works, I run one, I have just never seen that in someone's ear before.

  • Are those headphones or hearing aids he is wearing?

  • Fogerty kicks ass, you can always tell when a master loves his craft,,,,

  • Cool !!!! lo maximo !!

  • saw him yesterday, Germany, Local Emmendingen `Schlossplatz`, great show, the songs and performance were good and of course his voice and guitar playing soundet also great

  • wow!! he still sounds great!!!!!!

  • Cant wait Get to see John Fogerty tonight at 8pm in Kamloops british columbia, Its gonna be a great concert

  • Great song 4ever!!!*****

  • the bassist passed away his brother R.I.P

    but idk about the rest

  • Tom was guitarist, not bassist.

  • No, Tom Fogerty died long ago (drugs ), Bass and drum are playing together sometime, they kee name Creedence

  • Ahw that's to bad.

  • Tom died because he got AIDS when he was in hospital and he had blood transfusion. Sorry for my bad english. I'm from Finland :). CCR was the greatest band in history !

  • I totally agree with u dude ! Fucking doctors screwed him -.-'

  • Actually the bass player and drummer play together in a band called Creedence Clearwater Revisited, they performed a free concert this last summer in my hometown of Albany, Oregon.......they sound good but the vocals still arent the same without Fogerty

  • finally someone who knows what there talking about. how sick would it be if they got back together. all the originals except tom fogerty. its unfortuante that he dies and that theyre fighting over bullshit. they should start playin kick ass music again and do a north american tour dedicated to Tom Fogerty.

  • CCR broke up a long time ago .. :(

  • still plays and looks prety darn good for his age

  • still rocking the same guitars. yay john

  • who cares how he looks??

the most important thing is that he still can rock!!!!!! am i right o wrong?

  • He looks a lot older then in 2005

  • Comment removed

  • fuckin great Rock song!

  • he still sings great

  • John you are great - I am loving your rhythmus!

  • Comment removed

  • GRANDE JOHHHNNN!

  • yeahhhh john come one john 30 years more please dont u dead never.. we love your music

  • oh ymfcuking god matie, you really need to study some more grammar and sentence building regarding the English language. "please dont u dead never"

Please, dont you ever die" would be correct.

  • hey dude. awesome =)

but in next vidio, try to get lyrics whit =)

  • This is quite possibly the 3rd BEST pop song ever written & delivered! John Fogerty & CCR -genius & wipe the floor with many. As a DJ also for 25 yrs I play this track EVERY gig ..its always a flooor filler. Good input from 'Wook13' and 'drtalkster'...so please just others go away..or give the praise its due! This track is one of the BEST ever pop songs written. OK.

  • rockondog, You are soo right. This West Texas two step is most definetly a 'Floor Filler'. Keep it up, you really know your trade. WMG is shuttin' down some great stuff on YT. SUZY Q is Gone.. and it was PBS. Mind control is here.. DaFlikkers ABQNM

  • That was class.

  • All Hail brainnumber 2 who speaks for everyone on the planet for he/she is all knowing and above approach. In fact we should all stop thinking for ourselves and direct every thought, concern, and life decision towards this supreme being... All Hail brainnumber as they have decided that they know everything there is about being a musician and artist... I will no longer think until brainnumber tells me if my thoughts are the right thoughts... Thanks for showing me the light!!! (sheesh)

  • brainnumber 2, what the hell is wrong with you? You put negative comments on loads of John Fogerty videos. If you hate them so much, why do you keep watching them?

  • brainnumber 2 is a faggot, and Guitar Hero is the WORST game to ever come out on the market, I fucking hate it, why don't you just learn the real thing?

  • it isn't the worst video game. i've played guitar for 10 years and i find the games entertaining.

  • I saw him on wednesday in Munich and his voice was alot better than in this video.

Also the Sound was much fatter and better.

The mixing for that TV Show must have been really weak.

  • Fantastic. Such a simple song yet so many cover bands butcher it. Great stuff.

  • Excellent point! I spent nearly 20 years as a DJ and a lifetime as a drummer, NO ONE has ever even come close to doing this song justice. Once in a blue moon, a band comes along with a sound so uniquely their's that it simply cannot be duplicated. That has never rang truer than CCR and "Bad Moon Rising"!

  • smeclause

I can't believe people are complaining that it is inconveniencing their Guitar Hero Playing. How about instead of mocking a rock legend and spending all your time playing a video game, why don't you learn how to play the guitar. At least that way, you sound like such a fool.

  • this guy is a legend i went to the brisbane concert in australia ever since then ive been driving my family crazy with his music!

  • bathroom on the right

  • he likes to joke with his lyrics..he's been doin it for long time

  • i know he has ive seen him 6 times and every time he sings it bathroom on the right is the second to last line

  • If you don't like him - why are you here? Go home!

  • Fuck you. Who died and made you God?

  • lol

  • brainnumber2, you're a worthless piece of shit that no one likes and pays attention to, people like you are the number one reason that condoms were invented cause I think the condom broke, and the best part of you leaked through, ran down the crack of your mom's filthy ass and ended up as a shit stain on the mattress, I think your name should be brainnumber0 cause you probably have no brain at all. you don't know shit about good music!

  • was that suppose to be hilariouse?

when you typed that did you giggle to yourself because you thought people would laugh?

    fail.

  • Weak voice ?? What Not. He has a very big voice. Ofcurse he cant sing like he did when he was 20-30 years old in CCR but com on 50 years on stage and still going strong world wide . Like to see you people work so long and say each day its still fun !!!!!! Fogerty Rules

  • thats right hes alwayz sounding good i dont know why poeple say bad remarks about john fogerty hes a legend all respect for his singing and his music and he never has a weak voice

  • Well he doesn't have that "run through the Jungle" growl, but you can't say that his voice is weak!

  • Weak voice, what are you talking about man ?

It`s John Fogerty singing his own song BAD MOON RISING !He is 62 years old and his voice is way more powerful than most singers half his age.

Go to a John Fogerty concert and you will change you`re minde.

  • i did go and felt bad for him and me. his singing was weaker than here where it has been dubbed over for tv. the band was loud and distorted. i had to leave before the show was over. over 200 dollars for two tickets wasted.

  • This is NOT a weak voice! I've followed this voice for 40 years, the voice had changed a bit but it's not weak! People all over the world will not agree with you!

  • you follow a voice... does it tell you what to do and say?

  • His voice is nowhere near weak. If you really did see him live, you would know this.

  • You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. lol.

  • smeclause
