I hope you haven't kept that opinion of Monster as you progressed through the series. After Outlaw Star, it's my second favourite anime! Brilliant plot, character development, soundtrack and story structure. I can't honestly think of any episode that I didn't enjoy, and Johan is a genius. =D
Well, no wonder Rental Magica was so confusing. I had watched it while the fansubs were first coming out, and I had no idea what the heck was going on. Good to know it's because it looked like it could've been a good anime. I may try to pick it up again. :)
