When it all started, the argument was for terrorists. The problem is, we have no terrorists in Norway. So what do we do? Ah, we say that the law (DLD) is for chiild porn! Now, that makes everyone angry right?

Few weeks ago, loverboyscom (I think) was in the news, and it was a storm in a bottle. 31 norwegian IP-adresses was sent to the norwegian police. They said they couldn't do anything and pointed at DLD and says "we want that, it makes out lives easier *sob*!"

  • Because the Norwegian Conservative Party always knew that they would struck a deal with Labour Party (AP) with lowering the time from the propsed suggestion of 12 months and make it to 6 months (EU minimum requirement) and call that a victory.

That has been prediected, easily so, and that's what happened.

However, in the recent news, Høyre made some suggestions to cryptate it, log every extraction of the data and some sane other things.

It's still in use for terrorists and hard criminals.

  • Good luck, I'll be watching what you and your conservative friends are actually going to vote in this case. Why havn't the Norwegian Conservative Party made an official statement against, so far?
