Mink and ferrets are very different animals. Take the craziest ferret you've ever seen, and put it on steroids and speed and you'll know what mink are like. Ferrets have been bred to be tame for over 1,000 yrs, mink are wild animals.The 2 are like house cats compaired to bobcats. I'm used to caring for wild and crazy creatures and love having mink! If you still want a mink, Google Yahoo Groups and then search for PetMink. Join the group and talk with other people who love to have pet mink.

Can you suggest to me a different group. That particular yahoo group too busy having fun in their elitist clique to help anyone seeking information about minks. :(

Sorry, but I don't know of any other group. I only check on that group every now and then because they often have nothing but boring chit chat, but every now and then an interesting topic is talked about.
