You used to be able to move the tool bar to the bottom of the smart board that option seems to have disappeared? i found it easier for children to select tools from the bottom than the top. How do I move it now?
@alysonavilez You can still move it. You may have too many icons on your toolbar to see the arrow. Look all the way on the right hand side of your toolbar and see if you have a small triangle. Click that and you should see a few more tools appear in a drop-down below. You should see the double-ended aroow that allows you to move the toolbar there.
I used a tennis ball, but it it is the smaller kind used for play with small dogs. Some children find it challenging to keep their fingers steady on the board and the smaller ball provides consistent contact with the board for writing, tapping and moving objects. In addition, children with tiny fingers may pinch their thumb and pointer finger together to improve contact to move objects. I have also heard the suggestion to use a felt-wrapped drum mallet.
I love the idea of learners with limited motor control using a tennis ball instead of being exposed to using thier finger or the SMART pointer. Will definetly pass on this tip and a link to this video to all the tutors in Community Learning and Skills Development in Suffolk, UK.
The Airliner (aka slate) has a wireless mouse which is helpful for users who have trouble holding the pen.

The inovation is in background inversion, blank by black and the pen too.
If software from the Smart board have one good OCR (Optical Character Recognition), the teacher can write and after class use OCR.
Then the blind's student can listen with screen reader.
I'm Professor Paulo Mota and I can find other professors that use SmartBoard or other Eletronic Board.

@GeekyLearner it might not be showing in your toolbar. You just need to right click on the tool bar, find the "Move Toolbar" button onto the toolbar.
