My favorite move in the game is Thunder. I'll tell you all why! Here's the story: The year... well, I'm not sure. It was like 1998 or something around there. My cousin and I were battling on Pokemon Red/Blue. His Vaporeon (lvl. 100) vs. my Jolteon (lvl. 70 something). He was winning.  I used Thunder and it paralyzed his Vaporeon. He couldn't hit me for like 3 turns and it won me the match. That was the day that I learned the power of strategy over brute force. Thank you Thunder! xD

yea thunder wave move awesome para haxing something like Infernape is sweet this is my slaking moveset ice punch is great on scarf slaking because of all dragon dance dragons around earthquake return has got 110 power and its little better giga impact because you can switch him out on the next turn + choice banded return takes down aloot of pokemon in 1hit shadow claw is great move to attack something like dusknoir banded shadow claw does 80-90% of damage to bulky dusknoir

Hmm. I'd have to say Close Combat. It's so powerful and reliable, and Fighting is an essential type to have on your team. The Defense drops aren't that bothersome as it belongs on sweepers anyway, who need to dish out as much damage as possible.

actually, i wont favor any move becuz it depends on the pokemon using the move. shadow ball with roserade is a little off, although the move will definitely work with gengar. so to me it depends who uses the TMs correctly.
