Okay, I can make goku godlike, using some stuff from the anime and AF. Goku has an unlimited supply of senzu beans in his bloodstream, it only ends when he is capable of withstanding any attack from LUSSJ 100 Broly in his normal form without getting hurt. The moment broly knocks him out the senzu bean is automatically used, and he becomes stronger(Saiyan trait). this will go on for 5 days and now goku destroys LUSSJ 100 broly with just a punch.

Early on he is poorly animated and a tad weak, definitely. But towards the end of the franchise, around the time when he fights Buu at the end of Dragonball Z, he's much better looking and an incredible fighter. Early Superman and later Goku would make a very good match.

Superman: Can't use massive, powerful energy projectiles like Goku, but makes up for it with his ability to breathe in space. He is also well able to fight within close proximity to the sun, since the sun powers his abilities.
Goku: Capable of destroying a planet, but needs oxygen to breathe. Also has less strength than Superman when dealing with high gravity environments like the sun.

As you watch the Bardock Special, The saiyans flew into space to fight Frieza. ALL OF THEM including his father so they can breath in space and Goku can get use to high gravity enviroments pretty quickly.

Well in most comics, he is is faster than light and has reflexes to match, he mastered his powers with a lifetime of practice, and he can withstand solar temperatures and pressures.
He can lift mountains easily, but can't ever move things like planets, so Goku's stronger.
In older comics, Superman was faster than time itself and could carry entire galaxies to the other side of the universe easily. He's supposed to be powered by the sun so that was silly. That version could match Goku.

Early on he is poorly animated and a tad weak, definitely. But towards the end of the franchise, around the time when he fights Buu at the end of Dragonball Z, he's much better looking and an incredible fighter. Early Superman and later Goku would make a very good match.

Superman could punch the ground and make a 10 foot wide crater, but Broly could hit superman into the ground and make a 1000ft wide crater (he did it with vegeta). Superman could laser his way into the center of the earth, but Broly could blow up the damn planet and still blow up 10 more before dinner. superman has information crystals that have star maps of the explored galaxies that krypton did. Superman downloads the star maps in his head. What are you yammering on about. I was simply proving you that superman from his comics (which are the only allowable canon source) that he is not a push over and that he survives planets blowing up like walking through a sprinkler. Whomever character you like is your choice but I don't like it when others rag on superman because he's not some dark character that kills people. The bigger man doesn't kill.

and dont take my word for it, the manga is much more correct, his strength increases much more e than 50x i was just spit-balling, his increase in power is why he is able to fight stronger bad guys in a short period of time that he could have never taken before...
