read an article that said google maps is not free after a certain amount of impressions. I think like, 200,000. It costs $4 CPM. Honestly. I wish I had this problem! 200,000 impressions .. umm.. drool...

@stevegillan unfortunately not yet - if you want styled maps on Android, I suggest using a WebView that embeds the Maps JavaScript API.

@broadyau Thanks for the update. It would be nice for some of these updates (and overlaying tile assets, re: floorplans over buildings, like in the io app) to make their way to the MapActivity class. My app is better suited for a MapActivity rather then a WebView running the Javascript API. Either way, thanks for posting this, it's very handy.
