I never challenged piracy on the practical level I challenged it on the moral level. I KNOW it's possible and will be possible for years to come but it is wrong. By providing something for free that someone else has created and sells under the terms that you don't give it to others you are spiting in their face and violating their hard work. You are allowing others to use it without the intelectual property owner's permission. There is a difference between sharing and copying. Sharing implies you are temporarily allowing someone else to use something of yours at the expense that you will not be able to use it during that time. Copying means you create another one. You are not allowed to copy it according to fair use.

You enter into a contract by pressing the I agree button (or just buying it in most cases or for movies the "WARNING" screen) then you break it and thus break the law and prevent the company from getting some of its hard earned money.
