As everyone have said already, thank you for suffering through this piece of... Well... Turd. As i don't have to play it myself and suffer through it, i think you can pat yourself on the back. Safe to say, i have now silenced my curiousity, and can now forget all about this game. GLHF in future games!

I actually like the concept very much...farely better than most recent shooters....gameplay's stiff as fuck and a good map would be needed but hey its old now!

Seriously, I watched almost the whole playthrough some nights back and I had this sickly feeling from the absurdly low production values and unbalanced gameplay.

You took the bullet for all of us. If there was some sort of Nobel award for LP'ing you'd sure as fuck deserve one.

I hate it when a neat idea like this gets ruined by pure lack of effort. I was actually excited when I found this LP, but all it turned out to be was a crappy Wolfensteinish knock off with a couple moments of genuinely clever work wrapped in 'palm tree wallpaper'. I honestly don't know how you even managed to find your way around, everything looked exactly the same. My hat's off to you, I never would have bothered to finish this turd.

@DoughboyJonesmk2 Sadly things like this happen. They tried a bunch of stuff in this (FPS + puzzle, voice acting). But it seems the rest of the game suffered for it.

I found my way around by drawing a map and using the shapes ha ha.

Towards the end I finished it because I don't like starting a project without finishing. Despite the mental anguish (a bit strong maybe?) this game put me through.

@RPGLoony PC games were usually the innovators back then. It would have been cool if they tossed in some survival aspects a la Robinson's Requiem and then you had to fend off zombies as part of that. That's what got me excited, it started off so promising (scavenge what you can from the wreckage of the plane to help you survive this desolate place) but then other than the admittedly awesome death scenes, they just totally dropped the ball.

This game seems so horrifically bad that I might just go play it to say that I have. Perhaps even go so far as to beat it. Anywho, it was a pleasure (although painful) watching this series, and I congratulate you on not committing suicide, and finishing the game with your sanity in tact.

Man oh man this game looks horrid. I'm really amazed you kept through it and still seemed relatively jolly. Other reviewers (koff koff AVGN koff) would've punched a hole in their computer and cussed like a madman. Kudos man. Kudos.

Great review! :) I was too lazy to watch every minute of it, but it's fun enough anyway, reminds me of my unfortunate tries to play it through back in 1995. I didn't get - is there a way to leave the island by plane? I also would enjoy watching Nitemare 3D walkthrough with your comments if you'll ever decide to play it.

@progrocker69 I got a little something coming up soon, just a little sillyness of sorts... As far as what I am going to do next for the weekend/wed spot? I dunno. I was seriously thinking of the Grandia ReDux hack. But at this point it's up in the air.

@RPGLoony Grandia kicked serious ass. I used to own it, along with about 120 other PSX RPGs and another 100 or so non-RPG games, but then in 2003 our apartment was burglarized and the s.o.b's took the large wooden case they were all stored in.

I'm still not completely over that.

Anyway, whatever you choose I am sure it will be fun to watch. =)
