  • Wonderful song, makes you want to get up and dance. And Elton looks so cute at 1:50

  • brilliant - shouldn't it be at least 7 minutes? it's a remix but it's not extended.

  • I "dislike" it's too short to be a 12" version it should 5 minutes or longer, but I like the intro though.

  • im not a big fan of elton john...but this track is amazing

  • YEAH? SOOOO GOOOOD !!!! !_0

  • The song that got me into EJ in the first place. Inspired, frantic, energetic, verbose and all-round fantastic classic.

  • This is one of few Elton remixes on YouTube that doesn't suck.

  • this is the bestest version ever!

  • Great version!!! He has been my favorite singer since I was 6. I just heard him the first time and got right into my soul. His melodies, man, his melodies!!!

  • @martapersefone

I know the feeling....I'm 38 and have been a fan since 1984 (I was 11 yo)His voice and songs have always touched my soul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • FAB!

  • Man, the funky bass is really noticeable in the beginning!!

Does it sound a little sped-up, like his live versions, compared to the studio, to anyone else?

  • @Ironhandjohn I have this, and I slowed it down 2 or 3 percent to match the standard version.

  • @Ironhandjohn It's transposed.

  • Happy greetings from germany :-) Thank you

  • this is a very nice song when ever I hear it I am happy

  • Oh man, that's a great introduction! I'd love to have that... I never knew that there was a 7 inch version, but "I'm Still Standing" is my favorite song of all time, and always has been.

  • simply awesome never knew there was an extended version of this song:)

  • Ah, so that's the origin of the extended intro from his 80s concerts (and some of the solo shows of late). Very cool!

  • Wow! Incredible! That extended intro is rocking! Where did you find this?

  • I have the original vinyl!
