After all these years that I never could figure out knew why the brothers made a song against drugs and now I realize when I was making a 'natural' thing, I see that they didn't mean drugs by saying 'pills'. They actually talk about synthetic things of course, no one is against exploring the new eras of our brilliant brains, they just say be careful and they are right.

It's like asking the driver of a badly smashed car, "is your car undamaged?" He'll just look at you as if you'd said "The moon is made of applesauce!". And why would crying cause medications to not work? If a medication doesn't work while crying, it likely doesn't work while *not* crying either. In short, cool song, but puzzling lyrics.

the brothers approach music as, metaphorically albeit, transvestites from the future are drawn towards marmite-clotted handcuff. this is, of coarse, a profound allegory of social unrest amongst latin-america. need it be said? the chemical brothers recognize the futility of day-to-day life in the modern setting and this is, no doubt, a by-product of their use and abuse of pharmaceuticals. the pills, truely, will not help you now but, alas, they will help kill the boredom of daily routine.
