  • Just someone elses opinion.

With respect, you are talking B*****S Speaking as a sound recorist and musician that same piano would have sounded different the very next day, or later the same day, it could depend on something as simple as the air temprature in the hall or wether it had rained that day, And to say that one instrument is less fovourable than another is bordering on Crass Stupidity and Snobery as its all a matter of opinion or what sounds good on the day.

  • Just an opinion. I think the lady knew what she was doing in selecting the Kawai for the light brighter waltzes. The tone matches the color of the pieces. If she went to the mat with the scherzo or the sonata a darker instrument like a Yamaha or a Steinway might be more appropriate. If you want something to worry about, consider the profound disrespect all Japanese pianists received during the 16th International. They even threw Rina Sudo out in the second round !

  • Excellent Synchro <3

  • very nice

  • The sound produced by this Kawai piano is less favourable than that from Yamaha. May be this is due to the poor recording.

  • The osund produced by this Kawai piano is less favourable than that from Yamaha. May be this is due to the poor recording.
